Dr. Suneet Mittal, MD

My cardiologist, who I love, referred me to Dr. Mittal last year after a diagnosis of Wolff Parkinson White (WPW). Dr. Mittal barely gave me any time, pushed me toward ablation like a stereotypical car salesman would try to sell me a car, and saw me out the door (literally). Any questions my mom or I asked were met with a fast, uninformative answer and it seemed very much like our questions were an annoyance to Dr. Mittal. I very much got the impression that I was supposed to simply obey his command to have heart surgery with no informed decision on my part. I went back to my cardiologist and to Hackensack Meridian where the electrophysiologist actually took the time to answer my family’s and my questions.

I was looking for a second opinion. I have Afib for 30 years. My former cardiologist said to me my light-headedness is nothing to worry about. Just to make sure I contacted Dr. Mittal for the first time and was impressed. He greeted me at his office promptly at 9:30. He listened to me about my medical history and gave me a few tests. He gave me 3 options how to handle my condition, one being inserting a pacemaker. He was knowledgeable, attentive and a perfect gentleman with a great office staff.

He gives you the time face to face and explains your options. No rush job just the plain hard truth. It is your life and your decision . His team is first class. The nursing staff is attentive to your needs .

Valley Hospital office location moved to off site location. Did NOT tell me before my next check-up visit that the office had moved to a new off-site location.
