Dr. Susan Ayfer Orhan, MD

I saw Dr. Susan Orhan at Elite Women’s Care on July 12, 2023. I made this appointment for ongoing pelvic floor pain and pain during intercourse. During the pelvic exam, Dr. Orhan did not tell me what she was doing, did not warn me before entering my vagina, and did not explain the procedures. During the internal ultrasound, Dr. Orhan did not notice or acknowledge that I was in pain and feeling uncomfortable. She did not check with me or confirm that what she was doing was ok and did not use basic consent (such as, I’m going to touch you here, I am going to use my fingers, you’re going to feel pressure, etc). During the ultrasound, Dr. Orhan asked invasive questions about my husband, his age, why he had a vasectomy, and why we weren’t having children. This was while the ultrasound wand was inside of my body. My fertility and potential for childbirth had nothing to do with this appointment or my medical concern. When I told her that my husband and I decided against having children, she… said, “oh that’s a shame.” and her entire demeanor toward me changed. She ended the exam and said that I needed to see GI because my pain was “probably just IBS.” I have no history of IBS and no symptoms related to IBS. She then left the room while my legs were still in stirrups, my vagina was exposed, and she did not even turn the lights back on. I was left in a vulnerable position with no aftercare. This is blatant malpractice and this doctor used her personal beliefs to treat me in a negligent and dangerous manner.

The worst service ever, because of Susan A. Orhan negligence might cause surgery. Stay away and be aware.

Good and caring doctot but....the long wait is horrible!!!

I am very disappointed from my experience with Dr. Orhan. The doctor herself had good bed manners, very gentle and sweet. However, her lack of communication with me, as her patient, and poor information provided on my condition has truly disappointed me and even more - caused me stress and anxiety! I was told during a transvaginal ultrasound that I have a certain condition that could potentially prevent me from conceiving and was given no further information on what the treatment will be, whether or not I need to have surgery involved, what precautious should I take, if any, etc. As a young, healthy female, this diagnose just came out of the blue for me! And I just needed some clarification on the issue and explanation on what the next step is. But no, the doctor was so busy that she flew out of the room and I never got to see her after the exam, nor talk to her as of today’s date. After more than TWO weeks of constantly calling the front desk, being on hold and getting the same answer… as “we will have the doctor review your results” I finally annoyed the crap out of the medical assistant so she partially went over my blood results. She had to put me on hold after each one of my questions asked as she was talking to the doctor which I guess was right next to her. I still do not have the results fully disclosed to me and I do not have a clear answer on my condition from the doctor. Anyways, I count this as a big waste of time- time that I could have spent with a real professional. I will definitely not return to this place and I would like to ask Dr. Orhan - Why take new patients when you clearly do not have the time and availability to handle them?

Love the doctor.....wait the wait times. They are the worst I have experienced anywhere. Never on time always waiting. Once I waited two hours in the room... I was afraid they would close and forget about me. Again, I live the doctor she is so caring...it’s the experience before you see her that needs help.

First let me start I love Dr Orhan, Dr Ahmed, and Jessica they are amazzzzing, understanding, caring and will go above and beyond for there patient! I been going here since the beginning of my pregnancy 8mths ago! Some of the ladies in her medical assistant and receptions are GREAT!! EXCEPT The receptionist Gloria she’s the older lady out the other girls, she’s very rude, disrespectful, impatient. Her attitude is HORRIBLE I have never seen someone who is MAD ALL THE TIME she doesn’t know how to talk to people nor give eye contacts! She’s careless she’s the reason why I would stop coming here!!

Worst experience ever not only the wait time is horrible . But also the Dr Orhan never knows the reason for for the appointment. I've been going there for a couple years now.

This is the best Dr I ever had in my life. Very patient and polite women. I see her once in the year and I have nothing except the best for her .I wish we have more doctors like Dr Orhan .

I love this staff so friendly and nice. Always caring about patient and patient needs. The doctors can see you right away if you have an emergency. Keep ip the good work.
