Dr. Susan Austin Watson, MD

I have been seeing Dr. Watson for the last two years. She is by far one of the BEST doctor's I have ever worked with. Dr. Watson is knowledgeable, patient, kind, funny and caring. She is what anyone would want in a doctor. She knows her stuff & she makes great referrals as well. I highly recommend her.

I've got rosacea and I've suffered from itchy and burning eyes for years. I've also got a lot of redness around my eyes. I've tried home remedies, drops, and gone through my fair share of doctors. I knew from my first appointment that Dr. Watson and her team were different. They actually listened to my concerns and came up with a treatment plan that worked with my budget. I've had 3 IPLs and a LipiFlow and can FINALLY do my computer work without being in so much pain. Also, side benefit is a lot less redness around my eyes. I wish I would've found them sooner.

This practice is more concerned with money than helping their patients. I paid over $2000 for the appointment and treatment and my dry eyes are not any better. And they just sent another bill for $90; TEN MONTHS AFTER MY VISIT. Really?!? Stay away from this one.

I spend a lot of time on the computer for work and then when I get home. I had started to experience worse than normal vision and found myself reaching for eye drops more and more. I went to Watson Dry Eye Center for a consultation and got my glands scanned which revealed just how bad my dry eye disease was. They walked me through the reasons why and talked about the latest research--they really know their stuff! Dr. Watson and her staff have worked with me for the past few months with a combo of "eye lid cleanings" as I like to call them in the office and better eye care at home and in the office. Blink, blink, blink I'm always telling myself! I'm a much happier patient now and I have the team at Watson Dry Eye to thank!

Nice staff, but unfortunately they are not up front about the costs. I specifically talked with them before my visit about costs, and what I could expect from my insurance. After being assured that a co-pay plus $140 in up front testing costs would be the extent of my payment, I went in for a visit. They seem to diagnose everyone with the same ailments (my mom also went). But I went in and paid almost $2000 for the second visit for special eye treatments, plus a co-pay. Then, after all that, I've received two more bills. After much confusion, involving a company that they use to take care of billing, they are claiming that my insurance deductible has kicked in, and I'm responsible for over $500 more. Really? This is what I specifically spoke with them about before my first visit, and was assured that my insurance would cover with no issues. Be very very wary of this practice. If you go, get every single charge before you go and consult your insurance on all of them. Even if they seem… to know what they are talking about at Watson's, they do not.
