Dr. Suzanne Starke, MD

Dr starke was a great doctor who took her time and listened to your issues and kept trying until she figured you out or admitted she didn't know. You knew there would be a wait but you didn't mind because you knew she took her time with you , but the last 4 to 5 years she was pressured by wellstar to see more patients faster. I'm a complicated patient that can't be figured out in 15 minutes so quality really decreased and I think her desire to want to be a doctor decreased and you could tell by the care that was received. So sad that I feel she retired because she didn't like what wellstar made her become. I will miss her. When God made her she broke the mold.

I've been seeing her for 18 years. She is the best.

Dr Stark is a wonderful and caring person who makes you feel like you are important not just part of her job.She spends the time to discuss your results with you and we have never had a doctor who has given us so much of her time to go over our results with us. My wife and I are both her patients and to us she is the best doctor we have ever seen and we have had different doctors over the last forty years in different parts of the country. We would and do highly recommend her to everyone we hear might have a need for a doctor.

I went to Starke for about 17 years. She has always been personable, wise, and an excellent physician. I just fired her because her office staff is and has always been rude, brusk, inefficient, and with a few exceptions made me feel terrible after dealing with them. Among the worst offenses- a few years back they left me sitting in the waiting room for 3 hours with extreme back pain, (they had forgotten me,) and recently treating me like a stranger when I had an issue with my insurance not paying for a prescription. I have been going there forever! Maybe this is the way with all doctors as I have been scanning reviews trying to find a new doc and I'm seeing similar issues elsewhere.
