Dr. Sylvester Obanya Okonkwo, MD

Dr. Okonkwo is a very good physician. He's patient with all patients and his bedside manners are very professional and calming. He listens without interrupting, thoroughly keeps you abreast of labwork and /or test results immediately. He's very friendly and understanding. I'm blessed to have found such an awesome doctor. Thank you Dr. "O" as most of his patients call him. He has a wonderful young woman named Kearra ( I pray I spelled it correctly) that's ALWAYS kind, polite, nice, understanding, patient, on top of getting you answers immediately if Dr. O is with another patient, returning your calls, setting up your appointments/ televisits with ease and taking on responsibilities of a Nurse. Shes very professional and on top of EVERYTHING in the office which runs smoothly. She's a godsend!

I love my Doctor but he needs a professional staff. His front desk staff is the worst.

I was a patient years ago and left this practice because the staff was unprofessional and unorganized. Dr. Okonwko was very slow and tends to spend too much time with one patient not having consideration of others patients waiting to be seen. This is POOR patient care! After all these years he hired new staff. However, NOTHING has changed, the staff is even more ghetto-acting than before (the receptionist Terese always sounds like she's sleep and is very lazy, she has NO PROFESSIONALISM), the Nurse Practioner is also very unprofessional when taking blood for lab work, she's nonchalant and arrogant). Now I'm forced to find my parent another physician. Since day one this office has provided NO respect for the sick and elderly and have been caught in LIES regarding a task needed for my parent healthcare need!
