Tanya Schimek, DPT

I was born in Wisconsin though grew up in the Rocky Mountains learning to love the outdoors in both areas that I consider to be my homes. After graduating with my Bachelor degree in Exercise Science, I completed my physical therapy education at the University of North Dakota. I have worked in both Wyoming and Wisconsin as a physical therapist and enjoy spending time on hikes, bike rides, and traveling with also time to be crafty, read, and enjoying family and friends."Let's move". As a Physical Therapist, I am committed to helping others recover and advance their function so that they may achieve a positive quality of life. In my time as a Physical Therapist, I have found a love for working with patients of all ages as they all have taught me how to use my continuing knowledge and skills and adapt them for each unique person. It is my pleasure and joy to have a career in physical therapy, in which I have found a passion for assisting patients rehabilitate from orthopedic, …neurological, and multiple other diagnoses that decondition the body. I truly believe that Physical Therapy is a science in healing, but also an art of caring which together improves a patient's life while the patient enriches my own.
