Dr. Tara Leigh Clancy, DO

I’ve been seeing Tara Clancy since 2019 and I have never been impressed. She is nice enough but under-prescribes and refers out on EVRYTHING. She always put a lot of emphasis on my weight and losing weight. But even after I struggled to lose weight with diet and exercise she refused to prescribe a weight loss supplement that I used in the past, that successfully helped me lose weight. Today she denied me anxiety medication for an MRI and told me to go to my orthopedic specialist for it. Same with my daughter. Dr. Clancy also denied her ADD medication even though and it had been prescribed all her life by her pediatrician. Doctor Tara cares more about her medical license, than your medical symptoms. She does the bare bones minimum and denied me treatment because she is too scared to prescribe medicine that is potentially addictive. And if you have pain, do NOT go to her! Pain medication/controlled substances is a hard NO for her.

Dr. Clancy cares about her patients and it's evident through her actions. She takes time to listen to what I have to say and doesn't rush the appointment. She's thorough, making sure all aspects of my care are addressed. I had a difficult time finding a good, reliable, knowledgable general practitioner. I am so glad to have found Dr. Clancy!
