Dr. Ted Mc Kinley Zollman, MD

Told by Optometrist that I needed glaucoma screen with specific instructions; ' Narrow Angle. Please evaluate and dilate if safe'. Chose to see Dr. Ted M. Zollman @ 1455 NW Leary Wy. Gave specific instructions for glaucoma test w/ person who scheduled appointment and brought in eye exam Doctor's referral. After long wait was met by professional appearing woman who gave me a number of tests I was unfamiliar with. Turned out she did indeed dilate me without confirming the status of the narrow angle concern. The most dangerous thing that could of happened, they made happen. That incompetence instantly exposed me to the risk of an extremely serious condition called 'acute angle closure crisis' that could end up with vision loss. After waiting an extremely long time Dr. Ted Zollman made an appearance and told me what I already knew about my eye's from Optometrists exam. At end of his spiel I had to bring up the question concerning why I made appointment, being his evaluation of the narrow… angle concern. He sheepishly stated because that his incompetent assistant dilated my eye's, he couldn't take that reading. I then asked if that put me at great risk, and he confirmed under his lack of leadership, his staff had put me at great risk. The impression I have is that Dr. Ted Zollman will endanger his patients health by exposing them to unqualified and incompetent staff and that it seems to reek of maximizing his potential profits by delegating duties to amateurs in health care, and therefor exposing his patients to undue risk. By not directly communicating with me on incident but rather waiting for me to bring it up I feel he is a cowardly, disingenuous, fast talking, con-man and that he lacks the professional ethics, integrity, and character we need to find in our Medical Providers. This man is dangerously incompetent and I believe greedy in practice, and should be avoided at all costs, including that of your vision.

I went to him on the rec of my PCP, who was also his patient. He is so friendly and has a bit of a sense of humor; it’s a pleasure to go to a doc who is friendly and doesn’t think he’s God so he doesn’t mind questions!

Dr. Zollman was kind and respectful in his interactions with me. He was ruling out a serious eye problem and struck the right balance of being realistic but hopeful. I have had eye trauma, and he was very willing to go gently when dilating my eyes and checking for glaucoma.

Dr. Zollman is a very thorough, thoughtful doctor. Always fees confident in his diagnosis.

Makes time immediately if there is an urgent issue with your eyes. Our whole family from grandmother to pre-teen sees him. Results of my cataract surgery were even better than expected. Staff was so patient in fitting and teaching pre-teen grand kid how to put in and take out contact lenses.

This Eye Dr. is the best in the west. he's been my eye Dr. for quite sometime. Thanks to him my eye's are still healthy and beautiful.

Dr Zollman was efficient and thorough. The day before, I experienced flashing lights in my left eye and needed to see an eye doctor immediately. Even though I was a new patient for this doctor, I was treated with utmost urgency, and was able to see the doctor within 24 hrs. Also, after the examine, he patiently explained the nature of my problem, using the visual "eveball" model. Thank you Dr Zollman!
