Evidently doesn't understand insulin dependence, his ignorance and indifference destroyed my pancreas, too consumed with my resulting psychological problems to understand it was due to insulin deprivation and exocrine insufficiency, deliberately misdiagnosed me causing irreparable damage.

I have nothing but positive experiences with Dr. Pitea. He always takes the time to answer any questions before and after any procedure or treatment. He takes his time to explain things and makes you feel at ease. I have complete trust in his evaluation and treatment. I feel I’m always in the best of hand when I have to have a procedure. Just love him!

Excellent experience. Highly professional team. Treated me with respect and explained outcome of procedure in a manner I understood. Dr. Pitea never talked down or at me but spoke with the clarity necessary to underscore that more attention must be paid to my condition, since I had ignored the problem. I trusted his skills and expertise in this area.

I was referred to Dr Pitea by my primary care MD for a pancreas problem, which he is monitoring. He answers questions with a good deal of time. His office staff follows up, and responds to all Q in a good turn around time frame. I feel that I am in good hands for my problem.

Dr Pitea was great. A little wait, but once I got in to see him I realized that it was because of his thorough approach to patient care. He answered my questions, indulged my hypotheticals and gave me clear rational next steps. I will gladly become a patient of his practice, feeling confident that he is the best.

I love Dr Pitea , thanks to him I have no more pain!!! After visiting many DRs he was the only one that cared about me feeling good! I love how he takes his time to explain everything he is amazing!!!

He absolutely saved my son's life!

When he entered the room, he asked maybe two questions about my symptoms and then cut me off when answering. He said I had these pains and problems because of weight gain and then 2 minutes later he tells me he has the same issue. He is average weight and he has the problem, but mine is from weight. Never even considered it was anything else. He said it didn't really hurt now did it. What? No I enjoyed the hour and a half wait in your waiting room to have to face you.That was after waiting 6 weeks to see him for stomach pain, vomiting, and nausea. Gave me a prescription to shut me up I think and it turns out it causes facial ticks. Took a phone call on his mobile in the middle of appointment in the room (nothing important I assure you) and then another where he just got up and left and never returned. Will never go back to him that is for sure. Save yourself the time and trouble and find some one else.

I was very impressed by this wonderful doctor with a big smile on his face.His skills and clinician techniques impressed me so much.I will recomend this doctor to entire world.It was a wonderful experience.
