Dr. Terry Lee Nicola, MD

I'm sure he is a fine dr. but after seeing him for 9 months 8 years ago for a foot drop issue that he couldn't figure out what caused it. He just gave up and released me from his care. I think that his professional athletes are more important to him. By the way, finally got an EMG which Dr. Nicola, never even suggested or mentioned. I have exertional compartment syndrome in the anterior compartment.

Dr Nicola is a decent doctor, but seems lost without a resident helping at all times. The office is disorganized. His new medical assistant, “director of athletics”, is a rude and careless girl. She scream at patents, doesn’t call back patents or gives the doctor a message to call back. If asked anything her attitude is always like she’s doing the patent a favor even taking to you. This is a university health office, but it’s a place people come who are hurt or after surgery also. She should be ashamed to treat hurt patents like they are an inconvenience.

Please think twice when seeing this doctor. My account has repeatedly been sent to collections either for copays which I have paid at time of my visits or when simply picking up reports of my MRI and not having even seen this doctor. Fraudulent practices to say the least! You will wind up wasting hours of your time after your visit to try to clear your credit history and I am seriously considering hiring an attorney for these fraudulent practices. Don't waste your time with Dr. Nicola or his staff!!

Dr. Nicola has helped me through many issues and answered concerns of mine with measured thoughtful responses. He will take the time necessary to explain treatments and causes needed in a language you can understand. He really enjoys his work, is genuinely interested in you and cares. Has aided me through plantar fasciitus, various sprains, knee and elbow problems and has offered advice in preventive exercise to help avoid same issues. He has a very capable and caring staff to back him up.
