Dr. Theodore Perry, MD

Dr. Perry is very condescending, arrogant, tries to talk down to you for asking questions about anything and everything. His nurse is worse. This comes from the top because they see how he treats his patients and they do the same, very bad and rude. It’s only smart for a patient to ask questions about their health, procedures and anything that they should ask. I saw him several times getting ready for a surgery Dr. Perry and his staff never knew what was going on in any way. They made me very nervous about dealing with them so I cut off just to get a nasty phone call from Dr. Perry and I finally told him what others had told about him and to watch out for. I should have listened. I’m 71 and he’s been the worst experience I’ve ever had. As a matter of fact the only ever so bad. Never again……

I found Dr Perry to be a very kind, caring doctor and easy to talk with. He and his staff were so supportive in my surgery recently. I definitely would recommend Dr Perry to everyone needing any general surgery. My heart felt thanks and gratitude go to Dr Perry. Thank you so much!

I found Dr Perry very very easy to talk with. He had a very gentle demeanor and just enough of a sense of humor to keep things light. He is a very skilled surgeon. His nurse Victoria is very friendly and helpful, and even the receptionist Ann is respectful and very polite. I highly recommend Dr Perry if looking for a general surgeon in the Vero Beach area.

After Er visit and CAT scan results i was admitted and Dr. Perry was called to surgically remove my appendix. He refused, stating there was nothing wrong with my appendix and I then went through 3 days of the doctors trying to find another diagnosis that didn't exist because Perry misdiagnosed the correct one. I was then tested for blood cancer (negative) and went through that needless stress. I was in horrible pain, and this Dr. kept looking for a nonexistent diagnosis while my appendix had a blockage and infection ravaged my body. I lay for 3 days with appendicitis and on the third evening I demanded the ER doctor see me in my hospital room. The ER doc did another CAT scan and my appendix had gotten even larger. DR. Perry was again called to perform surgery first thing in the morning. He came to my room before surgery and tried to talk me out of the surgery, again. I refused. He removed my diseased appendix 4 days after I was admitted for appendicitis. My appendix was on the verge… of complete rupture. Even though Dr. Perry's diagnosis was wrong, he preferred to be right when he was wrong and risked my life by doing so. Run away.

So unprofessional and cocky. 0 Bedside manner....You will NOT be happy with this example of a Doctor. Run....away....quickly!

Besides being rude, and nasty Dr. Perry misdiagnosed my failing gallbladder that made me very sick. He had the results from testing at Vero radiology that clearly indicated that my gallbladder was not working. I had every symptom with the exception of being jaundice and he recommended I do other testing telling me my gallbladder was fine and not the problem. I was in distress for more than two weeks. He called me and blamed vero radiology for way the report was written and that my gallbladder was not working properly but still insisted to do more testing for ibs or an ulcer. With all trust gone I saw a surgeon in Sebastian that reviewed the same report that doctors Perry had and surgery was done the next day. Dr. Perry also fraudulently changed his notes from my records trying to coverup his blatant incompetence and malpractice. Doctor Perry is the absolute worst

Thank you Dr Perry for putting the patient care first and most important part of your daily work. Emergency surgery and after care made me feel that I was the main concern of this very busy doctor.
