Dr. Thomas Mark Banas, MD

Tried to get me to use supplements his wife was selling for treatment. My appointment was an infomercial.

Dr. Banaa was extremely rude and condescending the entire appointment. He made me feel like I was being overdramatic and nothing was actually wrong with me. Seeing him was the biggest waste of my time and I will be seeing someone else.

Rude and loses patience

I just had my second visit with Doctor Banas, today, and I couldn't be more pleased with his professionalism. He actually listened to my problems, he actually answered my questions in a professional manner and that is not something I have experienced with many Physicians lately. Thank you, Dr Banas

Dr. Banas is thorough. I liked him, but his nurse is another topic. She does not return phone calls, especially if you have called numerous times. When you do finally talk with her she is very condescending and non-compassionate towards the patient. I truly do not know how she is still employed. I worked in the medical field and my family has all been in the medical field. Again, I liked Dr. Banas.

We didn't have an appointment with Dr. Banas but with a Dr. in the same building doing an EMG on my 82 year old mother but he agreed to see her before we left her other appointment, which we greatly appreciated since we are from out of town. We all liked him and were very satisfied.

Dr Banas was pretty thorough in his exam, using interview and physical exam in trying to narrow down the problem. He doesn't push towards surgery automatically, which is good!

I've been to several specialists, but he's pretty up there with the most egotistical ones. He seemed to think his knowledge of the body was more important than my knowledge of my own. Didn't care for his bedside manner, so moved on to another specialist who was more respectful.

Horrid dr. who threatened a first time mom with epilepsy that she would have her baby taken away due to seizures! Didn't ask what her and her husband's plans were, didn't order any medication levels, didn't order any tests even with pg mom having new grand mals...nope, just threatened her.

Caring, concerned, VERY intelligent, and would not give up trying to figure out my real problem.
