Dr. Harris La Rue Bonnette, MD

We ended up back in the ER and due to the complexity of the case the ER Dr called Dr Bonnette. He was off work but he still took the call and then came in to see/treat my mother. Not many Drs would do that. I said something about how surprised I was and the ER nurse said -oh DR Bonnette will come every time. Very professional. We are very thankful to be in his care.

Dr Bonnette was very informative in explaining my husband’s treatment. He was caring and took the time needed to give good explanations. He worked wonders for my husband.

Thoughtful and caring. Explained my mother’s problems well to all family members in a group call after hours.

I went to this doctor for a second opinion workers comp neck issue. Told me I did not need neck surgery ,which I had through my own personnel surgeon, and it was successful ! He is in bed with the insurance companies, and his male nurse is no bargain either. Recommendation: find another doctor!

BR, BONNETTE IS AN EXCELLENT DOCTOR THAT I WOULD RECOMMEND TO ALL MY FRIENDS . HE SPENDS TIME WITH PATIENTS BECAUSE I KNOW FROM PEOPLE I HAVE SENT TO HIM. HE HAS A WONDERFUL PERSONALITY WHICH MAKES FOR A NICE BEDSIDE MANNER. HE DOES TESTS TO BE SURE THAT HE IS MAKING THE CORRECT DIAGNOSIS. I TRUST HIM WITH MY LIFE I AM 72 AND I HAVE MET MANY DOCTORS. DR. BONNETTS GOES BEYOND WORDS. HE IS THE BEST.

I was sent to Dr. Bonnette after an injury. He was horrible, bruque, did NOT listen to anything I wanted to try to tell him. He shoved a needle in my hip and hit the bone after which I could barely walk for weeks. When I went back for a follow-up, now having to walk with a cane, he prescribed anti-depressants instead of taking xrays or actually trying to find the actual cause of the pain. My family doctor threw the anti-depressant Rx out knowing that I did not need them & that wasn't the problem by a long shot, and sent me to another Dr who correctly diagnosed the problem. I had spinal fusion surgery, and have no lingering problems even 6yrs later. But, I have never forgotten this horrible experience with this doctor. Beware!

Do not go to this Dr he is no good. I am taking time to do this so that other people do not end up with a quack of a Dr. And the worst office and nurse staff I've ever seen.

I was sent to Dr. Bonnette for an evaluation during a Worker's Comp claim. He performed a nerve conduction test and when I failed to respond "the way he expected", he increased the intensity so much my shoe literally flew off of my foot. He then told me I did not have Carpal Tunnel Syndrome and that I was lying and playing a game with Worker's Comp. His nurse later apologized for my mistreatment and told me she believed me. She suggested I make Worker's Comp aware of the situation and request a second opinion. I did and received a second opinion from a Hand Specialist/Hand Surgeon who performed a sucessful surgery for my "severe Carpal Tunnel".

office staff is consistently rude and unhelpful; Dr. Bonnette is disinterested in your well being or your care. He also dictates false progress notes to insurance companies which minimize your medical complaints.
