Dr. Thomas Omar Bennett, MD

I have been seeing Dr. Bennett, or Dr. Wilson, for upwards of 15 years. The one exception, in wait time, was with my initial visit and exam. After that the wait times were averaging about 20 minutes. The thoroughness of their diagnosis, and willingness to discuss it with you, helps ease tension and concern. Both physicians will tell you, point blank, how you are doing. Appointments are made accordingly. I've come in as soon as 3 months later (for conditions that need close watch) and as long as 8 months later (if my eyes are in good condition). I have diabetes. I recommend both Dr. Bennett and Dr. Wilson 100%.

Dr. Bennett is probably a very skilled specialist, but he treats his patients and staff poorly. He has very poor people skills! I also wonder if he over injects his patients. Second opinion did not think injections were necessary at the time.But vision is so important that people will agree to anything because he never really explains anything to you to give the patient an opportunity to make informed decisions.

pts. need reassurance,because they're nervous and don't need someone saying "it's nothing" throughout their eye exam!!!! also determine during exam if the pt.can hold still before you have your staff smash their head in!!It made the test more unbearable than it had to be.
