Dr. Thomas Andrew Ehmke, MD

I visited Dr. Ehmke this week. My left knee is hosed. He agreed to replace it. However, he only does the Conformis knee one day out of the month which resulted in serious scheduling conflicts. I am very sold on the Conformis knee. That is how I found Dr. Ehmke - on the Conformis website. Now let's add insult to injury. I have dealt with pain in my right knee for 17 years. I have had both knees scoped ten years apart. The right knee is admittedly nowhere near as bad as the left knee even after 17 years since the surgery. However, it is getting increasingly difficult to drive. Dr. Ehmke will not even discuss doing anything with my right knee at this time. Does that mean he will never fix it? I don't know, but I am not waiting to find out. Time for a different doctor. Finally, they won't mail be the disk with the X-rays. I have to take time off of work to go get them.

Dr. Ehmke was rude, his office made many scheduling mistakes, and he was consistently late for appointments. I saw him through Hinsdale Orthopedics. If you have a choice, I would strongly advise finding a different physician.

He doesn't care about his patients. He cares about money instead of taking good care of the knee. He doesn't work in the area anymore. Much better doctors at Parkview and in the area than him
