Dr. Thomas Nathan Malone III, MD

Dr Malone is an outstanding doctor. He and his son are the best in the business. Dr Malone took his time with me during my pregnancy and answered all my questions.He was voted best Ob/gym in the tri-city area

I have been a patient of Dr. Malone since I was 16 years old. Dr. Thomas delivery my baby and it was an awesome experience and since his son Dr. Michael has join the practice its even better. The staff is wonderful!!!!

I love the father son duo!! They haven’t been anything but nice to me!!! They’re doctors that deliver babies and take care of other female problems such as my own of course the wait time will be long and the one on one contact maybe short sometimes!! If you get a doctor that always have time to listen to everything little thing you say or is never in a rush I don’t want to be their patient something wrong how you got so much time are your patients still with us? Ijs

I am currently a patient of Dr. Malones. I have seen both son and father. Everytime I go to their office I wait forever until I'm seen. They are so rude, they show up AFTER my appointment time nearly every time. When I finally get seen I'm dismissed a minute later. I'm currently 16 weeks and have been told to wait until I'm 20 weeks until I find out the gender. His ultrasound machine is so old that when I was 9 weeks he couldn't see anything and told me I could or could not be pregnant. He had to make me an appointment at a nearby hospital to make sure I was pregnant. That was the ONLY time I've been able to see my baby so far. When you see Dr. Malone you're only in there for a minute before he listens to the baby's heart beat, tells you everything is good, and sends you off. His staff is cold and I wouldn't prefer him to ANYONE. I'm currently looking at other doctors who'll take my insurance, once I find a good one close bye I'm gone! He doesn't tell you about anything going on with… your pregnancy at that moment or tell you how your tests came back. Complete jackasses

I used to believe Dr. Malone of Phenix City was the best doctor I had ever been to. I have been his patient during all of my pregnancies since 2007. His new staff members are rude, cold and do not even make eye contact. I complained about one woman the first time I was at his office. The second visit after that, she called the Department of Human Resources on me for disciplining my child. I would not have been so stresses with a sleepy child if I did not have to wait an hour and a half to get into the exam room. I was sitting, half naked on the exam table, my son was trying to open the door. After several attempts to hold him and try to get him to sit in a chair, I reached out to pop his hand that he was pulling on the curtain with. I missed and hit the top of his head with three fingers. Remember, I'm still sitting on the table with a tissue covering my private area. I was the last patient of the day, concerned that I had lost some of my mucus plug and she mocked me for telling my… child to sit down. She said she has six kids and that my son was nothing. Dr Malone came in the room 30 minutes later and told me I should not slap my kids around. He had no idea what actually happened. I am heartbroken that they had a social worker go to my father's house and my house over a minor disciplinary incident. I feel betrayed. I believe it was revenge from the woman I complained about in a prior visit. She was told to go to lunch but insisted on staying so she could watch Dr. Malone scold me. I am so sad over all of this.

Erin is nice but the rest of the experience is horrible. Appt is at 9... Dr doesn't show up til 11ish. This is my fourth baby. 1st with him. Never had to wait this long in my life. Never again.

This doctor is so uncaring! I would wait 2 hours to be seen ALL THE TIME. I had a high risk twin pregnancy and my twins shared ONE placenta which made it worse. He was NOT a high risk doctor but never told me. I was a first time mom and didnt know any better about how I should be treated. I came to him so many times with dire needs about hurting, not feeling right, the babies not moving etc. His answer: drink more water. Thats what he would always tell me. The morning I lost my twins I hadnt felt them all day. I called the office to let them know I was on the way the receptionist said "if you make it before lunch we might see you, if not you can wait until after lunch". I got there a couple minutes to spare and labor contractions hit me, she sat me down in the waiting room for over 30 minutes before I stormed out to the ER. NO ONE came to check on me even though I said they werent moving. The ER rushed me to a doppler machine and told me there were no heart beats. The father malone is… who I was seeing, but he didnt even show up ONE time. NOT ONE TIME while I labored, delivered, or postpartum. His son delivered, and then another man discharged me. Then at my follow up, the son asked me to please come back so they could deliver my next baby. I did NOT go back. I choose Dr. Rees this time. BEST DECISION EVER.

Thomas & Michael Malone are the best! They are great Doctors! They always listen to anything u have to say ( you just have to open your mouth people) They delivered both my girls and I wouldn't want to see any other Doctor! They have amazing bed side manners and really care about their patients! Yes their office is busy but that's because they are fantastic Doctors!
