Dr. Thomas A Riolo, DO

I was referred to Dr. Riolo to help with pain in my lower back, hip and leg. He was amazing! He is so knowledgeable, friendly, he doesn’t make you feel rushed at all. He answers all your questions. He truly cares about his patients. I would highly recommend him.

Terrible! Condescending attitude, no real answers to any questions.

I was referred to Dr. Riolo for pain management. One shot to the exact spot in my right hip where I was experiencing pain, and I was without pain. Dr Riolo explained that my problem was not over. Dr. Riolo is very sweet and gentle with me. I've been experiencing pain for 2 years that multiple specialists couldn't figure out. Many didn't believe me. I tried many different medications and treatments. I started seeing Dr. Riolo after a previous physician left NYS. Dr. Riolo validates me. Sometimes that's all a patient needs--is someone to listen and believe her. My problems aren't gone and may never go away, but I have a treatment plan with Dr. Riolo to manage things.

Dr.Riolo is nice, friendly, and professional. He doesn’t make you feel stupid when you ask the dumbest questions to understand what is causing the pain. The procedures I received were accurate and worked well. He is practical, but also listens to your concerns.

Thomas Riolo is at the top of my “doctors” list. Why? Because when I first consulted him, I was walking stooped forward and could barely get around due to my intense back and leg pain. Now however, following treatment by Dr. Riolo and the passage of time, I walk upright and am largely free of my miseries. To be sure, pain-relief alone should be a sufficient recommendation for anyone seeking a doctor who can help them overcome their spinal/back suffering. But there is more than that to recommend Dr. Riolo. He brings to his practice an engaging and relaxed manner that puts me at ease. He does not rush, patronize, or deflect. On the contrary, he listens to the entirety of my questions or concerns and gives me detailed answers that I as a layman can understand. For these reasons and more, I recommend without reservation the spinal and lower back care of Dr. Thomas Riolo.
