Dr. Thomas Gerald Stavoy, MD

Dr. Stavoy delivered my baby last year and I had a great 9 months of appointments and delivery with Dr. Stavoy. The day after my son was born Dr. Stavoy did not come to see me to the circumcision, so I asked to be discharged from the hospital that evening. I did not want to take my son home the same day he was circumcised. We brought our son to the office to be circumcised one week later. After looking at the circumcision I scheduled an appointment to come back because he did not take enough skin. Stavoy glanced at it and said "I took all I could". I told him his pediatrician thought he was circmcised at all and I had to push back the skin to show him. We ended up being referred to a pediatric urologist at Nemours Children's hospital and he had to have surgery at 9 months to correct what Stavoy messed up. I'd recommend him for delivery but DEFINITELY NOT for the circumcision!!!!!!

I think Dr. stavoy is a great doctor, but his staff and the staff at this ob gyn is just terrible. They are really bad on calling you back about your lab work you will wait for days. I think with new staff this ob gyn would be wonderful.

I have two small children, one just turning a year old, and the other is two and a half. Dr. Stavoy delivered both of my kids via c-section the experience was nothing but wonderful!! He has a wonderful, calming bedside manner that puts you at ease and was always willing to answer any questions without judgement. And, for those overweight women or moms-to-be, please consider him if you are having trouble finding a good doc. I have been overweight my entire life and did not even get pregnant until I was 37 years old. But again, there was no judgement. He counseled me if my weight increased too quickly, but was never harsh or mean. And, to be honest, he was the third doc that I tried because I was having a problem with doctors treating me badly because of my weight. So don't hesitate if you are in the same boat -- you will get great care!!

This doctor and his group are the most unorganized rude group of people i have ever met in my life and i wouldnt recommend them to my worst enemy. i was kicked out of the practice at 32 weeks of pregnancy because i had concerns about a tumor in my uterus and questuions about my blood sugar levels. i was told that they were a well established office and didnt need my money!! they refused to schedule my next appointment and gave me a hard time about faxing my records to a new doc. i always waited over an hour to be called back, they have lost my file before, and i always saw people come in after me and get called back before me!!!!

Within a very short time I gained confidence in Dr. Stavoy's abilities. He was both caring and efficient. I wish I had found him years ago.

I have been very pleased with Dr. Stavoy and his staff. I have had a few problems and he was very thorough and caring in handling any and all of my health concerns.
