This Dr. is a joke...his front desk person is the RUDEST PERSON ON EARTH...He will drop you like a hot cake if you tell him about her nasty attitude. DO NOT TALK ABOUT HIS “ASSistant

I'm not sure if he is trying to milk insurance billing or what. I had an initial appointment with him but he didn't prescribe any medication nor did he tell me what to do about my existing medications. He told me to come back in a week because he needed another full appointment with me. I came back and he STILL didn't tell me what to do with my meds and he said he wasn't ready to make a prescription recommendation. He seemed more interested in having substantial engagements with me covered my insurance than in managing medication. He spent a LOT of time talking in both appointments, which I find unusual because most psychiatrists are trying to get information FROM the patient. Even in therapy the patient is supposed to talk more than the doctor. I wasn't looking for therapy (I would go to my therapist for that) and he didn't seem like he wanted to provide medication management. I have seen a lot of mental health professionals and this was a very strange encounter. I've never… gone to a psychiatrist where I didn't talk to them about medication. Dr. Willett didn't even bring medication up! At a few points during the appointment I tried to change the subject to meds but he replied "did you hear what I just said?" to keep the conversation on his psychobabble. Then towards the end of the second appointment I asked about meds again and he said "oh now in the last few minutes you want to know about meds..." and said he needed to study his notes to think about what to do. He checked my insurance and said "oh the only thing they want to pay for is 15 minutes for medication management" and suggested that won't work for him and I needed to ask insurance if they will pay him to write long reports and for more appointments. Honestly, I'm a bit stunned by this whole experience. I read some other reviews about this Dr. talking a lot and now I see what they mean. By no means am I just out to get a controlled substance from this doc... again..... in two LONG appointments he didn't even talk about meds!! Not at all!! Nor did he even "manage expectations" with me by telling me how this was all supposed to work with him.

I was made to feel like an addict because I have ADHD and need medication to gather my thoughts enough to even try to sit down and apply for a job. I was told that because I asked for a letter proving I was seeing him I could no longer return, via text, and on top of that even though I asked for coping mechanisms for my anxiety and was more than willing to talk told that I was just there for drugs. Getting meds was a last ditch effort to get my life on track if I was not as strong as I am this could have caused a spiral. Do not see him! It takes months to get an appointment, his secretary is rude and he tells you that if you need support to reach out but the moment you do, he tells you he' no longer wants to see you.

This has been my Psychiatrist for over 10 years he is respectful , courteous and patience with my Mental Illness. He listens which is important and he gives feedback.Having a doctor that understands PTSD is important he never tells me to get over it. He always access my medications.

Dr willett is a great doctor. He took the time to get to know me and i feel comfortable with him.

license should be revoked. He gave my father 3 weeks worth of Professional "SAMPLES " of LATUDA WITHOUT CONSULTING WITH HIS PRIMARY CARE OR PHARMACY TO SEE THE OTHER DRUGS HE WAS TAKING. apparently taking LATUDA with PARKINSON'S MEDS CAN CAUSE SOME SERIOUS SIDE EFFECTS, EVEN DEATH!

i went to see Dr.willett about 7 years ago and he the staff did verify insurance or followed up with auth now I am being billed and sent to collections, not to mention when I had my consult he just asked me questons and did not tell me anything he just said ok thank you and that is it.

Dr. Willett counseled my son and our family when my son was a preteen. My son is now in his 40's and we can thank Dr. Willett for the guidance he gave my son. In addition, his family counseling helped me raise my two daughters in a much more constructive manner.

Dr.Willett is by far the best psychiatrist I've had. He actually remembers his patients and is very caring, considerable, attentive, and professional. I am blessed to have crossed paths with a man and Doctor as Dr. Willett. I highly recommend him to any new patients. He will make you feel at ease.
