I was ignored and "blown off" by 2 prior hip doctors. It made me feel like I was an idiot. Dr. Bert did a thorough exam, diagnosed the problem, and provided me several paths to treatment, explaining pros and cons of each. I felt validated and respected by everyone there. I only wish he could be the one to perform my surgery!

Dr. Bert is an awesome orthopedic surgeon. I found him to be professional, and very knowledgeable and skilled. He took the time to explain all my options for my hip issues to me in a way that I could understand and always had time for my questions both before and after surgery. He is also very personable and genuinely concerned and involved with his patients. I appreciated that I saw him on my initial visit (not a PA) and that he took the time to personally call me with my MRI results as well as return calls/emails. He even called me to see how I was doing the day after my surgery. I highly recommend him and his wonderful staff.

He was able to diagnose a hip injury that around 20 healthcare providers couldn't despite much effort. I struggled with this undiagnosed injury for close 6 years. He is up on cutting edge technology and a skilled surgeon. His physician assistant Allie is wonderful too. I am walking better than I have been since the summer of 2011. Dr. Bert helped me get my life back.

Doctors receptionist "Jennifer" has a horrible unpleasant attitude. I get the feeling she doesn't like her job. On top of that, our surgery was scheduled incorrectly. Surgery time was in the afternoon. Again, "Jennifer" inacurrectly gave me the wrong time. I showed up for my surgery to only be told I'm 6 hours early. If you have surgery, triple check your check-in time ahead of time and have them put it in writing.
