At my daughter’s birth he gave me an episiotomy without my consent.

Why did this man become an OB/GYN? It's pretty obvious that he enjoys his job a little too much. I was very uncomfortable.

Just moved to area and went to see this Doctor. Staff were nice and professional... wish I could say the same about the Dr. I was VERY uncomfortable with his mannerisms throughout the examination. Fortunately, I found a great OBGYN recommended by my primary physician.

Dr is great, very friendly, great bedside manner. I do have one complaint, everytime I call about a symptom or problem they refer me to ER and says Dr always out of town. Have not seen him once for a problem always a follow up from a ER visit.

I've only seen Dr. Hoffmeister once, but he definitely put my mind at ease regarding surgery! He seems very intelligent and competent at what he does and I'm sure he's probably a great surgeon!! I had an RN at Central Florida Regional Hospital tell me how wonderful he is and she passed along his business card to me. The office staff were sweet and courteous. He answered all of my questions and then waited to see if I had any other questions still! He took his time explaining things to me and was very calm and kind.

Dr. Hoffmeister was wonderful! I had some complications, not of his doing, after my surgery and he was there every step of the way making sure I recovered quickly.As far as the appointment waiting time, he did make me wait, but he more than made up for it! He took the time to explain my procedure and why it was necessary. He was patient with me even though it took me several appointments to make my final decision. He was never frustrated by my endless questions. He was thoughtful and considerate. Of all of the OBGYN doctors that are in Lake County, he is the best!

I would have to move to his area if i was expecting another. He look the time to discuss all of my options and allowed me to have input on decisions and course of action; during any complications he was right there checking on me, doing anything he could to make my pregnancy smooth. Delivery was fast, smooth, with no issues. He was great. I would recommend him to everyone! Four years later, you can't even tell i had a c-section. He also went above and beyond in helping with aftercare and birth control. To this day, He still would be the only doctor i would go to if expecting.
