This guy is a paid Insurance hack that lies about injured workers for insurance companies.

I read reviews prior to going in for my IME for a torn meniscus at work. I read how he is crooked and manipulates the truth. I received my denial letter 42 days after my IME. Conveniently after I had called my Insurance company to kindly let them know they had been breaking the law and not paying what they should. Very suddenly I got a denial letter dated for today. I was in the IME office for 11 minutes. I wrote the time in an out and called my husband as soon as I left the office telling him I was done already. I had a clear cut MRI showing the meniscus tear with joint fluid in the knee from the acute injury. I also had witnesses and documentation from the ER triage nurse stating there was significant swelling. There were 4 errors in this "doctor's" documentation. Including dates of MRI. He changed what the MRI report said. Stated that squatting does not tear a meniscus even though statistically deep squatting is one of the most common causes of the over 500,000… meniscus tears that happen annually in the US. Not only are we going to go to court over this matter I am filing a complaint with the Wisconsin and Colorado boards of medicine, the Better Business Bureau and the Wisconsin department of labor. IF you go to an IME bring a lawyer!

Attempting to destroy my work comp case. Disagrees with the half a dozen other physicians I have seen. He is a hired thug by insurance companies to discredit other physicians as well as the patient and he doesn't hesitate to use shame against the patient. Stay far, far away from this poor excuse of a doctor.

This man is no Doctor, he paid by insurance companies to deny your claim, Do not go to him. He saw me for all of 10 min . Then had to wait a month to get the report, his reviews do not lie. It is sad that he has forgotten the oath he took to help people, DO NOT USE THIS MAN EVER

This guy is hired to do a one-sided blow-in, blow-out IME. He bases his opinions not on the truth, but what he is getting paid to do by the insurance company hiring him to be the puppet they want him to be. Why else would they spend the money flying him to Wisconsin? Definitely not to give a report in favor of the injured person. Shame on this doctor for not upholding the Hippocratic oath. Guess money is more important.

Terrible experience. Uses an assembly line for surgeries. No way ever should he be practicing. This expressed by a respected orthopedic doctor who knows his history.

He's a quack

Dr. Timothy S O'Brien did an IME on me for my hand, shoulder and knee injury that was required by workman's compensation insurance. First of all, he is an ankle and foot doctor. During the exam he mentioned the swelling in my knee that was still apparent 9 weeks after my accident. In his report he said there was NO swelling. HE LIED. This guy is a quack and if you are unlucky enough to have him do an independent medical exam on you--Good Luck. I still have not settled with the insurance company because of his report and it's been 15 months

2nd time i've seen Tim on a Work Comp issue, for a so called, "independent medical evaluation" his report was full of many inaccuracies, and some outright LIES. He gets payed to fly over to Wisconsin, to fill out bogus reports. Timothy O'Brien is a hired gun, of insurance companies. We need a new system that truly uses an "independent" Doctor to evaluate work injuries.

Work comp Dr. flown into your home state from Colorado to lie and minimize your work related injury. Set up office in seedy none professional offices anywhere he can with no professional staff.
