Dr. Todd David Miller, MD

I’ve been going to Miller for several years and have never seen this side of him as I did today. Went in today with a chest/lung problem. I told home I felt congested and he said “no such thing.” He asked if I had chest pains ? I said no. So he listened and said there’s nothing wrong. I want to do an ekg and leaves the room. So I hear him out in the haul telling someone that he needs an ekg and he says he’s congested and laughs. Tan proceed to walk down the hall and say right congested that’s a good one. So when the tech came in for ekg, I stood up and said I’m not taking it I’m leaving. I don’t like his attitude.

Dr. Miller is very easy to relate to. Married, kids, grew up in Atlanta and has an honest interest in how you are doing. Very good in diagnosing issues and explaining options in care.

This was my first visit to Dr. Miller and his office. Dr. Miller's assistant was very nice. Forty five minutes after appointment time, Dr. Miller bardged through my door without knocking, sat down at computer, and pounded on keyboard. It took a few minutes for him to acknowledge I was in the room. He stood, introduced himself, shook my hand, then continued to pound on keyboard. I took it upon myself to strike up a friendly conversation with him which his responses degraded everything I said. My husband had an appointment after me, and felt the same way. For a routine annual physical, he probably spent a total of five minutes with my exam. He told me he would return in a few seconds, left room, came back with his assistant (because I am female), and completed his quick exam. Afterwards I realized he did not ask if I wanted to discuss any issues I may have, go over prescriptions, etc. I did not have an issue with office staff and found everyone else friendly. I will not go… back to Dr. Miller.

How does he keep his job? Doesn't remember who you are after years of seeing this so-called doctor. Doesn't remember, or even read, what medications he prescribes.

You get no feeling of care or desire to have you be well in the office. It's fill this out, pay us, stand here, wait here, and why are you here with a final here is a prescription and good luck...no follow up to see if the presctiption worked or you are feeling better....avoid this practice, they really don't care at all and it's obvious in every step from appointments to checking out after seeing the doctor....

This entire practice is only in it for the money. Everyone there is rude, brusque, and never smiles. I saw Dr. Miller for 4 years and he never remembered me and every visit (annually or more) he was reintroducing himself and having to be reinformed of my issue. You CANNOT get a prescription filled and they nickel and dime you every chance they get. No one can be bothered to actually listen to you, let alone answer your questions. You'll wait and wait in the waiting room, then get to wait some more for a doctor who cannot be bothered to acquaint himself with his patients, let alone care. The most miserable experience. I'm currently in the market for a new doctor and apparently, from the multitude of poor reviews, I am not alone. Stay away from Alpharetta Internal Medicine and Dr. Todd Miller.

The whole experience was horrible. I don't know what was worse...the office staff, Dr Miller, or his nurse. Everyone was rude there and crabby. Not one personsmiled and I left the office in such a bad mood becauseit was such a bad experience. Do not choose Dr. Miller asyour doctor.

I can't believe he doesn't remember me, I been seeing him for 4 years, he pretends he doesn't even know me, gave very little attention, only spent 3 minutes with me, just didn't care about any of my symptons, all the reviews are true, he how can I trust what he prescribe's? I threw away his prescription and went to another doctor and and he laughed at what dr miller prescribe me.

agree,with other negative reviews on here.He does very short exam, maybe 2 min then disappears for 20 min and returns with prescriptions. His mind is elsewhere and he is always in a foul mood. He may be working at the nearby urgent care as well as the Internal Med bldg. Does not listen. I transferred from another Dr who went off my medical plan and Miller has yet to get my old prescriptions transfers correct. It's a real pain to change Dr's but that's my mission in 2010.
