Very thorough

If I could give Dr. Lackipoor I mean Makipour a negative star rating I would. She lacks professionalism, neurological knowledge and respect for her patients and therefore is a very, very poor doctor. I wrote her on MyChart several times and she NEVER got to them. I personally have been to her office on Thursdays when she only does Botox and there are only 3 patients scheduled for that entire day. One would think that she could get to her MyChart messages then, but she is too busy trying to get out the door so she doesn't have to play doctor. Yes, I mean play. Because if she was a real doctor, she would take her job and patients seriously and make her front office take their job more professionally. Unfortunately that is not the case for Dr. Lackipoor. She lacks knowledge and is a VERY poor doctor. I found it sad that I know more than her. I have other neurologists that are located in Phoenix, Arizona and Dr. Lackipoor would always ask what they thought... this always made me say hmmmm.… did you not go to medical school like the rest of the doctors? Can you not think for yourself? So today was the last straw. After 4 MyChart messages since last week and no one bothered to answer them (they looked at them because the system said when the staff read them), I gave their office a call. The front office lady tried to give me medical advice, which is a no, no. You must have some type of medical license for that. She proceeded to tell me Dr. Lackipoor said I needed my PCP to deal with my neurological issues. I said funny! Because I went to my PCP this past week and he said the same thing about you! I needed to consult my neurologist because I'm dealing with neurological issues and that's a specialty for a neurologist, not a PCP. He advised me to find a different neurologist if she was not going to help me. So today while on the phone, I fired Dr. Lackipoor. I told her I've never met another doctor or office staff that is so unprofessional. I will be writing a letter to the Warren's who are our family friends. You probably wont see Dr. Lackipoor for much longer under Warren Clinic.
