I am a regular visitor to DSC for skin treatments so I can tell you those two reviews were grossly inaccurate and untrue. First of all, as a medical doctor, as long as you pass the certification trainings for operating those laser machines, you are permitted to open a laser center such as this. It's like an engineer is allowed to operate certain machine after he's trained and certified. Secondly, while it's true that Dr. Shum doesn't have the best vision anymore, he still performs surgeries with flying colors. If he has made so many errors like this person's "friend" said he did, DSC would have been out of business long time ago. The fact that they are still drawing new customers everyday is a testament to the success of their medical staff. Lastly, DSC is a business and its goal is to generate profits. Compared to many westside mainstream competitors or even local competitors, DSC is among the most affordable up-scale medical spas. How do I know? I have done my… homework before and I continue to search for good deals for my skin care regiments. DSC ranks very high in most categories, and most notably, affordability.

He has eye problem and his two eyes can't concentrate well when he performs his surgery. He once treated my friends skin moles. He shot on nice skin and left the moles there. But he still wanted the money. Cruel, greedy and stupid doctor. Not recommended!

Tony K. Shum registered as a Otolaryngology and never as a plastic surgern or a laser doctor. But he had opened his own plastic surgery and laser center in Asian people's community for over ten years and tries to make more money. He and all his staff are very unprofessional and money hungry. He has his eye vision problem, his eyes can't focus well. So he always did wrong when he performed his surgery. He is a horrible person, so his wife. My friend once asked him to remove one mole on her body, but he shot the nice skin and left the mole there. But he still wanted the money. No shame! Not recommended this doctor. Your heath will be harmed by him.
