Dr. Towana L Spriggs, MD

I wish I saw this site before I made the appointment with Dr. Spriggs. Would not recommend going to Dr. Spriggs unless you do not have access to other doctors. It is a very small, basic office. I was going in for my annual exam. The appointment was quick and easy. She is very friendly. But follow up is horrible. Her office never called or mailed me my lab report. I called the staff 4 separate times, spoke to 2 different people just to find out if they had received it since I had been billed for it. After a month, I finally heard word from Dr. Spriggs. She left me a message and was not in the least bit apologetic. To date, I still never received a mailed copy of the report.

After reading reviews from 2009 and its 2013 its a shame that this is still going on. I chose Dr,Spriggs as my doctor almost two years ago and Iam done with her and will not recommend a dog off the street to her sad but true ! I never experienced this from a doctor before and tried to give her the benefit of the doubt. what doctor phone voice mail is full and she answer the phone at times. Since I live so close recently I kept calling during her hours, never got an answer so I went there no Dr,Spriggs. The lady said she left for the day and talked to me threw an intercom. I went home and called the physician board to make a complaint and found a new doctor .

Dr. Spriggs staff is the worst staff I have ever encountered in the medical field. I waited a month to get an appt that was canceled and rescheduled with out me knowing. When I spoke with the office manager about the circumstance, she was very argumentative and rude. She never apoligized for what happened or her behavior. They never answer the phone either. I never got a chance to meet Dr. Spriggs because I don't want someone treating if their staff is unprofessional. She just lost three pts because I refered them and After hearing about my experience, they dont want to deal with her rude staff either.

Staff at this doctors office are unproffessional. Waiting time is very long. Assisting staff taking vital signs seem not to know how to take blood pressure. The doctor interrrupts patient when talking, she is always in a hurry and seem not to listen.

Dr. Spriggs is very good, but she needs a staff person who only answers the phone and makes appointment, and another to manage patient files and triage.

She has the ability to accurately and quickly diagnose the problem. Defintely a physician in charge of her practice.Would highly recommend.

Glad to see I am not the only one having a similar problem. No matter how hard I try I can not seem to reach her or anyone in her office. I guess I will need to find another primary care physician as well. How truly unprofessional.

She has give me loads of tests to do but after two, three, four weeks I called (what a joke) back to get some sort of dignosis and then treatment, but I'd think they would have found a cure for cancer before she contacts me back.What a complete waste of my time and my money.

Dr Spriggs may be an ok Doctor but you would not know becase she is impossible to reach!! She has a horrible office staff!! They do not answer the phone or deliver messages! I am looking for a new doctor! I need someone I can reach in case of emergency or will answer an emergency page@!! She should work for a group she is not reliable enough for her own practice!! I should have listed to the peopple in the waiting room on my first visit!!
