Dr. Travis Clayton Heare, MD

This guy left me with permanent disablity on right leg from surgery. In Greeley co about 20 years ago. He lied said he was experinced in tka. Ha Right? He lied on his visit note after cut/paste job. He also tried to knock me over in the hallway as i passed him on way to p.t. After I had contacted an attorney. He is no cowboy. Even though he sleeps in horse trailers.

He says he is the “best”, red flag. He presents as aragont and chauvinistic. I would deal with this if he was a good surgeon. But his results were not at all acceptable. And complications could have been avoided if he actually came to check in after surgery. It was days before he checked in and he was not knowledgeable to the fact he had caused the complication surgically.

We completely put our trust in Dr. Hare, our son is alive and doing excellent post leukemia and total hip replacement. Ten years and going strong!

Dr heare treated me or bone cancer when I was 16 over 20 years ago and at the time was only doctors in the country who could perform the surgery that saved my leg and ultimately my life, he cares about his patients more then any doctor I've ever had and the fact I'm a cancer survivor (had a 20% chance to live) I've had many doctors.I saw Dr heare at University of Fl (Gainesville) in 1990/91 he moved to CO in 91 and after I hit my 5 year mark of being cancer free I called Dr Heare and he not only remembered me but talked on the phone for about 30 minutes catching up, he truly cares about his patients, maybe too much but this is a great quality in any doctor, as long as I live I'll always remember that I'm alive thanks to him.

Didn't take the time to review the case file or get to our daughter's specific circumstances. He reviewed an MRI report from a radiologist and proceeded to tell us to just give her more ibuprofen for the pain. He did not run any tests, didn't know her name, didn't know how old she was, and didn't seem to care about her or her condition in the least. He ended up taking a cell phone call in the middle of our appointment and never returned to the exam room. Waste of time and money.
