Dr. Vaishali Vilas Geib, MD

Worst doctor and staff that I’ve ever come across. I should have left them after the first few appointments but was too busy to search for other doctors in the area so I stuck with her. I was stupid enough to give them 4 years of my life but after today, I am finally done with them. It took me a month to set an appointment with her, no one answered my daily calls and no one returned any of my calls for over two weeks...even when they did, they were very rude. I got to my appointment today a minute passed their 10 minute window of being late and she wanted me to reschedule inspite of the fact that I really needed to see her because of a medical issue, took off work just to come see her, took me a month to make the appointment, and was only late because it was raining. I’ve waited patiently anywhere from 45 min to an hour to be seen on all my past appointments, no less, but yet she could not see me today because I was 11 min late. To top, the receptionist was very rude. I don’t think… they realize how many of us have left her practice already. I work in a place that constantly hire new people from all over the U.S. and some of them have seen Dr. Geib but unlike me, looked for another doctor soon after seeing her and dealing with her staff. She has lost many patients, my coworkers, just because she and her staff feel It is okay to treat us like we are second class citizens. Dr Geib seems to work for herself and herself only...patients seem to be only a way to generate a paycheck. She simple does not seem to care...a prime example is when you need a refill, even though she knows you really need it (ie. blood pressure medication, inhaler, and/or migraine medication), she will refuse to refill it over he phone because she needs to see you first even if it means that you will go without the medication for a month. She is very often never available to see when you need her. She works on Tuesdays and Thursdays only because she says she has a life outside of her practice. Additionally, she seems to recommend doctors from only her circle of friends and nationality, especially recommending her husband, who is a cardiologist. Keeping the business within the family is I guess the best practice for her. Hope her friends can feed her once she looses all her patients. I don’t recommend her to anyone. Much unneeded stress. I will be looking for another internist...

From the rude staff, filthy, dirty office and waited an hour and half after my appointment time and then the doctor rushed through my visit. Lab lost my tests but still billed my for them. Only a patient for a year but that was a year too long.

We've been trying to get a critical prescription filled. No one want's to help. Very sad that this is the way senior citizens are treated.

Dr Geib is awesome would strongly recommend this practice to anyone

I am a daughter of an elderly parent that has been in the care of Dr Geib for the previous 3 years. She is only seen by the Dr twice yearly. No matter what the request we are unable to see past the practitioners beyond those scheduled times. I attempted to make an appointment for an emergency. While in the process of appointment confirmation I was told by the "office" staff that I did not confirm within a timely manner. The lapse of time was less than 45 minutes. When I explained this was an emergency need, I was told to "go to Emergicare" and was hung up on. I am not sure who reads this review or even if there is any care to what these reviews reveal. However, if you have an option, I would NOT choose this facility for care. There is nothing that conveys anything will happen to address the rude, disinterested, and unprofessional attitude of the people that are working in that office. Shameful and an embarrassment to those that must use that medical facility and very… disheartening that a Dr has no interest in how her practice is represented.

I needed a general doctor and was recomended to Dr. Geib by my uroligist, her husband. Very good at first, but after prescribing blood pressure meds, the Rx had trouble getting anyone to respond to any calls or faxes. After I called several times, you have to call and talk to a person that will forward you to another whom never picks up which prompts you t leave a message, after several calls they took care of it, only they did the wrong prescription. The real problem came when due for blood work, I called to make sure that all paperwork was in line and they were open. I was assured all was well and the office was open till 5 o"clock. after leaving work early and driving an hour, I arrived at 4:30 only to find the office closed and no one around. Final thought Great Doctor just wish she had a better office with true business hours.

I have been seeing Dr. Geib for a long time at least 8 years. I have decided I can no longer deal with her terrible staff. She is an excellent doctor and has always taken wonderful care of me. The staff has a terrible lack of communication and the amount of phone calls you have to make to get an answer is ridiculous. I have talked to the nurse there and she will tell me she is leaving something for me at the front desk and of course when you go in they never can find it. When you call, they always act like you are bothering them and no matter how long you have been a patient they never know who you are or anything about you. Last visit I was there a nurse was supposed to come in and do a test, I waited at least 15 minutes in the room and had to go out to the front desk where 2 nurses were standing and chatting and ask them if they were coming to do the test. The one nurse came and said what kind of test are you getting. I told her I am the patient you need to as the doctor what… she wants. Finally after another 10 minutes she figured out what she was supposed to do. After getting my last lab order, a test was left out and now I have to go back and fast and have them draw my blood again. I feel very bad that I cannot continue with Dr. Geib but enough is enough.

Had 4 instances where I couldn't get a refill on an rx. No response from three calls from pharmacey too. Good doctor but the worst staff I ever encountered. I was forced to find a new doctor due to this.

Dr. Geib was very thorough considering I haven't been to a physician for complete exam in a couple of years. Her comment was, "I need to know the inside of you as well as the outside". She took the time to go over tests and answer all my questions. Her immediate staff was very well. The office staff was not overly friendly.

Overall Dr. Geib is very nice and seems knowledgeable. Have had some issue with her staff entering information into the computer system correctly. They got my birthdate wrong and one of my prescriptions showed the wrong form of a prescription (powder vs pill). I am also turned off by some staff members with tatoo's. Another issue is they don't respond to pharmacy requests for refills, which means you have to call the doctor's office each time you fill a prescription that has run out of refills. You dont' get a call with lab results, you have to use an automated line. Finally, the lab person doesn't work for the doctor's office, they work for an independent lab compnay. When I went in to get lab work, the lab tech did not have access to my records to see what tests needed to be run. The lab tech searched a large stack of papers trying to find my lab orders. Ultimately had to come back at a later date, which wasted my time. I have heard they are going to give access to the lab… tech, will see on my next visit.
