My daughter is a size two. She had been weighed with her shoes on at Dr Meyer’s office so it looked like she had gained 8 lbs in a year, really about 6. The doctor made her entire check up a lecture about weight gain and told her she had to weigh herself every week. I am absolutely furious! This woman is a danger to young women and should read up on the prevalence of eating disorders. What a horrible way to treat a patient. I am shocked.

Dr. Myers is friendly, personable, and down-to-earth, and yet always very professional and effective in her approach to her patients. She takes the time to get to know the patient, not just a medical case but as a whole person. She is highly skilled, not just in terms of the application of her medical knowledge and expertise, but also in listening, developing an accurate understanding of patient concerns, and communicating her genuine interest. This combination instills confidence and greatly enhances her medical effectiveness, I believe. I know her time is valuable, yet unlike many other busy professionals, Dr. Myers never conveys a sense of being rushed or harried. I have always felt free to bring up any concerns I may have, and I have appreciated being given the time for a thorough discussion of each issue. In short, she's superb!

Dr. Myers has a very calm and caring demeanor, and immediately made me feel comfortable and well cared for at my first appointment with her. This has been my experience at all of our subsequent appointments. She is knowledgeable and thoughtful, explaining the medical problem thoroughly, presenting treatment options and the pros/cons of each. She does not immediately leap to the most drastic treatment. I trust her expertise and judgement. The staff in the office has been wonderful, and help to create a sense of being cared for.
