Dr. Vandana Narang Setia, MD

If I could give less stars, I would. This is the worst Primary Care Provider. I have never had ANY bad experiences with a business to the point where I had to write a review, but I felt that this was absolutely necessary. I have been seeing Dr. Vandana Setia for over five years now. This practice I would not recommend, only for the simple fact that they lack customer service. The employees are only there for a paycheck. I can only name a couple of the medical assistants that are actually professional. (Rayna is one of them and I absolutely LOVE HER!) Dr. Vandana Setia only tells you the bare minimum so you will have to come back FOR THE SAME PROBLEM that you went to her for when your symptoms were not that bad. She gives you misinformation to the point where, you're not only wasting your money and time continuously going for doctors visits, but you actually diagnose yourself and she elaborates in that diagnosis. So now you have left, feeling like a waste because that is what you could… have did at home. Not wasted money doing something that could have been done YOURSELF. Not only does the provider give misinformation, the staff does as well. The staff is very rude. VERY unprofessional. When Susan was working the front desk, it was very pleasant. The experience coming in was everything. Calling and hearing her voice was amazing! Now, Amber answers the phone and is very nonchalant. Her tone is uninviting like she does not enjoy what she is doing. I would like to share my experience today that lead me to writing this long review. Every time I need an insurance referral, Tracy gives me and my mother a hard time. Not only does she give us a hard time, but she is VERY rude. I do not know if she does this with everyone, but I do know it's very unprofessional and after today, I am switching my PCP because I'm just that fed up. She stated on the phone that she could not give me my referral due to them needing an updated insurance card. Keep in mind, my insurance has stayed the same MY WHOLE LIFE. I do understand they need updated information, so I volunteered to email my card to her seeing as how the practice is closed due to the pandemic. Her reply was, "I don't have email." At that point, I flew off the handle. If you are looking for a new Primary Care Provider, I recommend everyone read this review and RECONSIDER!!! You will be very unsatisfied. There are definitely better doctors out there willing to ACTUALLY HELP and provide staff that gives the utmost respect to their patients. Allowing you to leave knowing you got the BEST CARE afforded. ??

I love her caring and sincere ways.

unprofessional- have people waiting an hour to get back in the waiting room and another 30 minutes to be seen. And quick to charge you or ready to dismiss you for missing an appointment. I would not recommend if your not a patience person.

The staff is not courteous at all. You wait for ever...and then when she comes, she would spend just a few minutes with you. Do not recommend.

Very moody with poor bedside manners. Prescribes unnessary drugs, wait in the lobby 30 plus mins for a 10 minute quick session with her. Treated as a number rather than an individual.

My average wait time was over 4 hours. No kidding. She would actually go to lunch, not tell me, come back from lunch, see other patients, and then see me when I had an 8:15 am appointment. I was so sick that I could not even stay awake that long. This is quite a few years back now, but at the time, she did not believe that fibromyalgia or Chronic fatigue immune disorder existed. I could barely walk, but I stormed out of there with my cane when she told me, it was "all in your head." She did not mean that I might have a neurological disorder, and that we should look into it. I was finally diagnosed by another doctor who actually believed what I was saying.

Dr. Setia was my doctor in GA for about 5 years... I have since moved back to the Mid West and MISS Dr. Setia. She listened to my concerns and never made me feel that any concern was "in my head." Here I am fighting with my doctor over asthma that I have had for 27 years... I am currently searching for a new doctor and just had to write about missing Dr. Setia. It is an awful feeling to have to fight for an inhaler and I NEVER had to do that with Dr. Setia.

One of the best physicians I've ever had.

I have never in all my 56 years had a doctor who cared more or was more willing to work with me to get me where I need to be health wise.
