Vedka Begovic, MD

Dr. Begovic has given me spectacular care. She is thoughtful, caring, interested in my thoughts, open to discuss care, knowledgeable about alternative approaches, remembers my health details from one visit to another. I have been delayed a few times which made me late, and each time she has made time for me.

Warning! this woman is is dangerous and has lies in her medical records. Terrible diasnotician

It's huge RISK to your health and life visiting Dr. Begovic because she will TURN AWAY patients who are late just for a few minutes, as "She's very strict about being on time" (explained by the clinic receptionist), and not offering any alternative doctors for your visit. Switched primary care doctor and clinic right away because of this rude and unethical manner.

I feel blessed to have selected Dr. Begovic as my primary care physician. I am a senior citizen and have had many a doctor in my life and Dr, Begovic is at the top of the list, she is terrific...in fact my husband has just signed up with her after having been to my last two appoints with me, and we have recommended her to our long time friend who now has a home in Del Mar and wanted a suggestion on a doctor.

On my way to the office, I called dr. begovic's nurse to say I would be late for my appointment. When I arrived exactly 9 minutes late I was told by the receptionist I would have to reschedule, with the explanation: "She is very strict about being on time." I'll find someone whose manner and schedule allows for a bit more flexibility.

Excellent doctor. She was proactive and each visit she would spend the time needed to ask questions, answer questions, explain things and make suggestions. She was so patient and warm. One of the best doctors I had. I referred my parents to her and she took very good care of them. Then my insurance premiums went way up and we had to switch out of Scripps. I miss her a lot and it has been difficult to find anyone who comes close.

I have seen Dr. Begovic for about 6 years now. She is thoughtful, communicative, collaborative and fun. Highly recommend her.

She is very gentle and caring. And she is the only doctor I went that won't hurt doing the pap smear. Highly recommended!
