Dr. Vicki Lynn Chamberlain, MD

I’ve been a regular (not pregnancy) patient for a number of years. My every visit is a positive experience. Dr. Chamberlain is a caring and knowledgeable professional. Wonderful staff. I recommend their services.

My wife saw Dr. Chamberlain after having a missed miscarriage. The initial visit started out on the wrong foot, but further devolved due to Dr. Chamberlain’s poor bedside manner. As this was the first time we were experiencing this, we had many questions. Yet, Dr. Chamberlain couldn’t seem more rushed to get out of the door. When something this major happens, you’d like your doctor to be more compassionate or at least be willing to answer our questions, but we received neither of these courtesies. Do yourself a favor and make an appointment with another practice group.

Dr. Chamberlain helped me through a preterm birth. She was very caring. She was thorough. And her pelvic exams are very gentle. She did a great job on my c section. Would highly recommend.

Dr. Chamberlain was the most difficult doctor to deal with when I was going through a horrible time in our life. She has terrible bedside manner, minimized my issues, and was not interested in answering our questions. We objected to having a specific procedure done due to our religious beliefs, but during surgery, Dr. Chamberlain completed the procedure against my wishes. After, I was unaware it was completed until I received three medical bills relating to it. Upon calling her office, her medical billing director stated that they would need a letter from my religious leaders to that effect. To recap, I did not want this specific procedure completed, I was not informed that it would be completed, it was completed against my wishes, and now I'm required to disclose that I had this procedure completed to my religious leaders so that Dr. Chamberlain will write her corresponding letter to the other service providers? Yes, definitely makes sense. Definitely not recommending Dr.… Chamberlain.

We had extremely great experience with Dr. Vicki Chamberlain, She is having a great personality. She is a compassionate doctor and I am very impressed with her expertise. I must say that she understands her patient very well that at some point of time, you would feel like she is one of your family member. All in all the best doctor, I've had in years! Very knowledgeable, confident ,soft- spoken and always full of happiness and love!! The rest of Dr. Vicki Chamberlain's staff are also great! They are courteous, professional and always very helpful.

Dr. Chamberlain is a wonderful doctor! She delivered our first baby and assisted on the birth of our second. I trust her completely and feel safe recommending her to other women in need of an OB/GYN.

When I have seen Dr. Chamberlain, she has spent time with me and makes me feel like an important patient. She answers all of my questions and puts me at ease. If I need to call and ask a question, Dr. Chamberlain calls me back herself and gets back to me quickly. With many doctors, I have felt like a number, and not a patient. I don't feel that way with Dr. Chamberlain.

Dr. Chamberlain has provided care for me and delivered my 3 children safely. She wasn't much older than me when I first saw her at the Brookside practice. I followed her when she moved to Arlington heights from Winnetka, Il. We have children about the same ages so she could sympatize with my pregnancy complaints. She is a personable, knowledgeable, and trustworthy doctor that I would highly recommend. I have never needed to wait long which is not always the case with an obstetrician.

The Dr is OK but the office staff is very rude. The wait time for an appointment is over a month long and when I needed a prescription filled they refused to fill it even though I had an appointment and couldn't get in any sooner because of their schedule so the very rudely forced me to see a different doctor!!!! I will never be going back!!

She very much has an attitude that she's a doctor and the patient is not, so it's really silly for the patient to be asking any questions in order to understand the situation as best as possible. It's antiquated and does not speak to most of the younger generation today. If you ask any questions, she dials up the contempt in her voice and tries to belittle and browbeat you into just doing things "her way." My experience was so horrible, that after being a regular patient to this practice since I was a teenager, I have transferred practices mid pregnancy just so I don't have to risk having her be the one on call when I go into labor.
