y experience with Well Coast has been sub-par. In the past five months I transitioned providers twice with limited notice. My first provider left the practice abruptly and I was transitioned to a new provider. I liked my new provider Dr. Victor Torres-Collazo until his office abruptly canceled my care with 7 days notice prior to my appointment and locked me out of my patient portal account. I left messages and emails for 5 business days with no response and I was quite scared to be abandoned without adequate notice as I believe such practice violates patient care laws. They eventually contact me a week later. The office was rude and patronizing in their handling of frankly, their mistake. I was moved to a new provider and given interim refills. This practice does not care about their patients and they do not make any efforts to make their patients feel cared for. I am still locked out of sending messages within the portal and there is no resolution date in site. The administrative… team at this practice is unethical in their mannerisms and treatment towards patients. I had two abrupt changes in providers in 5 months and this experience was by far the worst as I was abandoned mid-treatment with no explanation as my provider had been Dr. Torres-Collazo for over four months. The admin team was not sympathetic and frankly, patronizing. I am certain some patient protection laws were violated in the handling of my situation. My care was abandoned with inadequate timeline for transition. And lastly, it is quite hurtful to be ghosted by our provider after 4 months of meeting weekly and mid-treatment. This can cause great patient harm.

Dr. Torres listened to me closely and extensively reviewed my medical records. I've been suffering for a long time with depression, low energy and anxiety. After many medication trials and specialist consults over 5 years, no one had been able to help me. He was the only one who identified that I have a rare medical condition and treated me. I am finally recovering after being told for so long that I was "just depressed." I only wish I had come to see him sooner!
