Dr,. Melvin was cognizant of my vitals and attentive to my care. His demeanor was positive and professional. I saw him in the Manassas office. I appreciate his attention to detail!

He works at urgent care and refused to treat my accute problem. Saying it was not bad enough. Doesn't seem to have any idea what a fungal infection on the skin looks like on the breast from breast feeding.

I went to the urgent care office and Virgil Melvin MD was doctor. He has no experience for gastro issues. He took x ray, offered no medicine and said just to eat right? What I left still sick with no professional medical advice just a come back in a week. What??? I didn't go to the doctor for him to say come back in a week. A young doctor with minimum, experience. I paid for an x ray and bad advice

Every time I have an appt (every 3 months for diabetes), I am never seen on time, feel like I'm getting the bum's rush and Dr. Melvin always seems to be distracted and unfocused. The practice is now part of the Privia Medical Group and their patient service has sunk to a new low. No prior medical history is available on the new portal, it's not user friendly and it took 1.5 weeks (and a few phone calls) just to get my lab results. Currently looking for a new family medicine practitioner.

Dr. Melvin was a very caring doctor and was attentive to my needs.
