Dr. Weston Northam, MD

Dr. Weston Northam, MD, is a pediatric neurosurgeon at Boston Children’s Hospital and co-director of the Cerebral Palsy and Spasticity Center, as well as an assistant professor of neurosurgery at Harvard Medical School. He specializes in pediatric neurosurgery with expertise in cerebral palsy, spasticity, hydrocephalus, Chiari malformation, spina bifida, tethered spinal cord, and complex spinal and movement disorders. Dr. Northam earned his medical degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School and completed his neurosurgery residency at the University of North Carolina before pursuing fellowship training at Boston Children’s Hospital. Known for his compassionate, patient-centered approach, he is dedicated to advancing innovative neurosurgical treatments and improving quality of life for children with complex neurological conditions through multidisciplinary care.
