Dr. William Athens JR., DO

The day of my first appointment they were running behind, so I waited for over an hour to see Dr. Athens. However, once I was called back, I was treated EXTREMELY well. Never have I seen an orthopedic surgeon who explained everything to me, spent 20 minutes talking to me about my options, and the only one to finally (after 4 years) come up with a solution to my chronic problem. I feel a sense of relief right now.

Had knee replacement and 6 months later experiencing new pain making it difficult to work. Could not be seen by dr for 6 weeks. I am very disappointed in the ability to see dr when in pain. No exception or any compromise was made. Also the wait is ridiculous an average wait is 1 hr. Main goal is to do surgery and forget about you. Good luck with this office.

Dr Athen replaced my left knee, rod in arm after break. I have full use and range of motion in both. Having other knee replaced. Feel like 40 instead of 65. Thank you Dr Athens

I have had three surgeries done by Dr. Athens. He is very professional and speaks to you in terms that are easily understood. I would recommend him to anyone that needs any type of orthopedic surgery.
