Dr. William Davis Biggs, MD

Dr Biggs looked at the MRI’s I brought in & indicated the spine looked good & nothing was wrong even though there is a 40% compression fracture shown on the MRI. He said it was an old injury & that it had healed completely. The MRI report indicated a new fracture at that spot. He didn’t examine me or question me much about my excruciating pain. I felt like I was intruding on his time. He said he couldn’t operate & so couldn’t help me. He prescribed PT & pain management & seemed eager to get me out of his office & move on to the next patient. I expected more concern & a thorough exam. My pain is real & for him to dismiss it was very discouraging. I guess if he doesn’t operate, he doesn’t make the big bucks. Find someone else who genuinely cares & is willing to try to help.

He was recommended to me as someone who was compassionate and would listen. Maybe on a good day! NOT today. Totally rude and dismissive. He was obviously annoyed that I asked to see him after the PA saw me. I wonder if he thought I made the appointment with him to NOT see him. I wonder if his PA makes as much money for an office visit as he does?

He broke my back. Destroyed my bones, those were his words. He left my spine unstable because during surgery he got nervous and didn’t know what to do. Was life changing. Left me disabled. Don’t give your life up for an unqualified dr. You only have one back. Run as fast as you can

Run. He broke my back. Didn’t inform he did that. Put screws into nerves. Do not, do not let this dr touch you. We have one spine, he ruined mine, I’m now disabled and in awful pain everyday. I am having to have my bones reconstructed in my back because of his incompentence

After 2 surgeries and still having problems I went back to Biggs telling him there is still something wrong. His comment to me was "lose weight". Well before you make that judgement call next time let's look at the MRI which did indicate another Herniated disk.

Dr Biggs and his PA Danielle, quickly scheduled me after seeing the results of my MRI. A large cyst was causing severe pain. They explained the situation and answered my questions. Surgery was scheduled for two days later and my result was great. So thankful for the caring and skilled surgeon and team!

I had trepidation visiting a surgeon for lower back pain, assuming he would elect an invasive procedure first. I was so wrong. Dr. Biggs went into detail regarding issues with my spine and answered my numerous questions with no time pressure. He suggested a number of sound alternatives to approach before he would even consider surgery. Dr Biggs was professional, courteous and I know he will be the surgeon of choice if/when it is required.

Dr. Biggs gave me my life back!

Dr. Biggs did a minor back surgery for me. It was completely successful, he and his staff were very professional through the entire process and I would highly recommend him. He is a stickler for precision and efficiency, which can make his bedside manner a bit distant, but he knows "his stuff" and responded well to questions.
