Dr. William Allison Blackman, MD

Owing to insurance alterations in another city, I've had to change primary care doctors three times over the past 15 years. After recently moving to Lynchburg, I went to Dr. Blackman for the first time as my new physician. This was the best experience I've had with any doctor. Dr. Blackman began with a thorough history, spending plenty of time asking questions and entering the answers in his laptop. He also gave me the most thorough physical exam I've had in the last 15 years, and he set a follow-up appointment for the next week to discuss lab results. I had been in his office a couple of weeks earlier to get a Rx refilled, and I met with Dr. Blackman's PA, Rachel Behrmann. She was equally thorough and equally competent. A big plus is that all of the staff in this office are happy, courteous, and friendly. I highly recommend Dr. Blackman.
