Best doctor I've had that actually listened to me. Then he no longer worked for that office and I'm having a hard time finding an equivalent replacement doctor.

Dr. Dewolf was ALWAYS very professional with me and was so easy to talk to and I believe in him as a Dr, I found something that is hard to come by and that is true listening and compassion for my struggles and the fact that I needed his help. He was always caring and erred on the side of caution with my meds and told me the TRUTH about the meds I was on and what to expect. I came from a Dr up North who cared nothing for me, never listened to how I felt and only cared about making the pharmaceutical companies happy! Finding Dr. Dewolf was like a breath of fresh air and he will be very missed and I've been at this for 20 plus years, so I've met a lot of Dr's!

Dr. DeWolf got my history and quickly zeroed in on the best course of action of a recurring problem. In two weeks I was back to my regular self. He was very easy to talk to and the fact I was 70yo along with my long history didn’t seem to daunt him or have any bearing on his treatment and counseling. He’s friendly, professional and easy to work with.

Dr Dewolf is a caring, friendly, and approachable professional. One of the best mental health care providers I have had, and I have been going to him for years for my medications. Easy on the eyes, too.

Dr Dewolf is a poor excuse for a psychiatrist. He does not care about the well-being of his patients. His main goal is to bill the insurance company for as much as he can. Wouldn't be surprised if he was committing insurance fraud. He does not attempt any sort of gradual dose reductions nor does he monitor the patient. He just fills scripts and sends them on their way. Individuals with mental health needs require someone who is thoughtful and intelligent, neither of which Dr Dewolf is. Someone needs to stop him before his patients overdose. It has been reported to him that a patient was abusing benzos and he continued to prescribe them without even asking any questions.

One thing to take into consideration. It is always best to go to a doctor that is concerned about your mental health. When you meet with this doctor, you will be the only one in the room that is concerned. That is not a good thing.
