Very arrogant personality.Did not try To treat nor investigate my chronic issues. Rather put it off as a headache . 350 worth if crap

Waited a month+ for an appointment to see Dr. Gilmer (was referred). Got there early, had all my paperwork sent in, brought additional copy just in case, and showed up about 15 minutes early. Three minutes before my scheduled appointment he walks out the front door (passing me). About ten minutes later an assistant comes, puts me in a room and takes my vitals. She tells me that he is gone to the hospital and should be right back. Forty minutes of waiting I was still sitting there - no check in, no nothing. So when I went out to the front desk to ask where he was they told me "He said he would be right back, but I really don't know." Seriously?

To walk behind a patient and start shooing them in the neck with shots in the neck with no warning or explanation was very disturbing and painful. I have not been able to move my neck and more pain then initial visit.

This doctor is very concerned about his patients. It shows in his mannerisms, he is very detailed with his notes, suggestions, medications, and quality of care I received from him. His bedside manners are professional to the point. I am very happy I'm under his care.

Dr. Gilmer is very professional; yet easy to talk to. I feel comfortable that he cares about me as a person and takes my concerns seriously. I would definitely recommend him.

I just called to get an appointment and the receptionist didn't let me finish to say my symptoms such as seizures, back surgery, problems with the nerves, etc., when she told me that I don't need this kind of doctor. She was so rude and unprofessional.

Listened to me. Understood exactly what I was describing and my headache was gone by the time I left his office.

He came very highly recommended by another Dr. I was in shock as to how I was treated by this man. He was extremely arrogant, rude, condescending and seemed to laugh when I tried to explain a symptom to him. All he wanted to talk about was saying he wanted to give me shots in my neck to help with tightness and headaches. I wasn't having any headaches! He didn't care. I finally had enough and told him what I thought of him and his highly disrespectful manner. At that point his attitude changed, but I had had enough and left. I would absolutely never return th this joke of a doctor. Horrible.

I can't beleive I just wasted my money on this doctor. I'm so dissapointed. I couldn't agree more with the other reviewer who said he's condescending and impolite. He acted as though he was doing me a favor when I'm the one paying to see him. I'm not sure what compels him to act like this towards patients but if he's unhappy with his job he should consider retirement. It's very frustrating and upsetting when you wait weeks for an appointment because you've been feeling like crap for so long and then this... Rude, arrogant, condescending and the list goes on....

Impolite, condescending, and did not follow up in a timely fashion! Spoke to me as though I was a child, mocked me for not knowing precisely which serum blood tests I had (I am not a doctor!), and laughed in a rude manner when I was dizzy and could not answer a question. Shockingly impolite and terrible bedside manner. Charged my insurance $500 for an office visit and to interpret an EEG, which I never got results for. After a nervous system disorder diagnosis, I called twice to follow up with them and they never called me back. I am now seeing another neurologist who is a million times better. The only positive was he spent an hour examining me, but it wasn't pleasant.
