Dr. William Lewis, MD

The receptionist was notably rude the day she called me. Then she had no mask on when o came in for the appointment. She told me she wasn’t required to wear one. Oh my. My first impression was not good especially since Dr. Lewis is an infectious disease doctor. I finally saw Dr.Lewis. He spent time talking to me but didn’t listen well. He skipped asking important details and I noticed this because his conclusions had errors that jumped out immediately. He was not sure what the rash is that I have been dealing with for months. He then suggested antidepressants, all the while mentioning his wife. Project much? This entire visit was Ridiculous.

Dr. Lewis was highly recommended to us by 3 different nurses.He made us feel comfortable and reassured on our first visit.

Dr. Lewis is very knowledgeable and spends the time to answer questions. I am a physician with 40 years of experience. He highly recommend Dr lewis.

10 years ago, I contracted a infection during surgery which almost took my life. I was in the hospital for a month. Dr Lewis stepped in on my case and with his great care and finding out why type of infection I had, I am here today. I I would recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Lewis spent a LOT of time explaining medical issues and test results with me in layman's terms. He certainly has a patient and empathetic demeanor, and I trusted him immediately. He did not seem rushed and took, to me, as much time as I needed to understand what was going on and what the next steps should be. Office staff was superb.

I would not recommend to friend..Wil never go back...I am now in a critical stage due to his miss diags and treatment..

I love Dr. Lewis. He is thorough and very knowledgeable.

Dr. Lewis is the best doctor around. No one speaks of anyone smarter. He works 18hr days on a regular basis. You would think you were old friends with his bedside manner. If you become a patient of Dr. Lewis you are very sick and have a complicated case. In this case having the best, you will not suffer flaws you would normally see in a genius. He will make time to see you everyday if you're in the hospital. Even when you move on to seeing him at the office he remains the same caring doctor who is supported by a great staff. Dr. Lewis saved my life. I had a serious infection after having back surgery an was a guest of the ICU for a couple of months. While in an out of the hospital five months of the year 2013 every nurse or medical professional had nothing but praise to give to him. Those same people said there is no one smarter in his field. Tulsa is a very small place. I believe you're only three people away from knowing everyone. That being said , you do not need to take my word for… it. Just ask someone you know who the best is and they will agree. Thank you Dr. Lewis for saving my life and making me feel important and not just another patient. Thank you

Dr Lewis has overseen my care on several occasions over the past several years. Knowladgeable . compassionate, concerned and on top of that a great person.
