Dr. William Cecil Mcgarity JR., MD

I was called (by the office) to remind me of my annual physical. I agreed to schedule a visit. I have been a patient for over 5 years. I have had this physical every year without charge. They did lab, urine, XRAY & EKG all part of normal physical. The doctor spoke with me and wrote a anxiety prescription. Unbenounced to me, that upgraded my visit by $150. If given the choice.. I would have not accepted the prescription. I tried to reason with the office and they stand firm with the unfair charge. The doctor should have notified me this is an addition charge, not part of the physical. I work hard to pay all my bills and keep my credit up. This has put a hardship on me. I am disabled and money tight. SHAME ON YOU!! The doctor would not correct this wrong. 2019 Seeking a new primary …..

The office staff is amazing. They know what they are doing when it comes to taking blood and making sure the patient feels welcome. Dr. McGarity and the Nurse Practitioner Hannah are wonderful. They have incredible bedside manners. Hannah and Dr. McGarity will make sure you are heard on any issues you may have or concerns. I am going to recommend all my family and friends to them.

This is the worst doctor's office I could imagine going to. The office is very small and the patients in the waiting room can hear your personal business being discussed. Dr. McGarity gave me a terrible physical. All he did was check my blood pressure. I complained of pain in my lower abdomin and he did not even look at it or touch it. His whole vibe is just very impersonal. He was very rude when I was there to see why me and my girlfriend were having problems conceiving. He just said, "It's her problem; Not Your's" when my test results came back. He didn't even explain the results to me. However, the female doctor there is very good, and I hope you get her if you go. I'm switching doctors.
