Dr. William Richard Post, MD

DR.POST is a very to the point Physician, but was exceptional to go over everything with us. Before my Surgery, this Man prayed with me. Never have I had such a closeness with a surgeon. That I will be forever grateful. There are issues in is his Billing department, unexpected items not covered by insurance that I basically required, and that i had to pay put of pocket right then.Also having a co-pay issue that my insurance said that I did not owe and have gone so far as to file a grievance with this office. The biggest issue however, was Dr Post's wife, Kelly. Who in our opinion should not be working with people who are there simply for comfort and help. Not to be treated like just a number at a fast food restaurant. We all deserve kindness, which we were sadly denied by her(the main reason for the 2 stars).

I went to Dr. Post after injuring my shoulder, which had been injured and operated on before. Dr. Post took the time to learn my injury history, the activities I enjoy doing and what I was hoping to achieve from seeing him. He put together a plan of care that would allow me to be active again. After surgery and physical therapy my shoulder feels great. Better than before it was injured and I’m back doing the activities I enjoy. Dr. Post is a good doctor and he is a good person. I highly recommend him.

Broke my wrist. Went to see Dr. Post MD on a Monday morning w out an appointment. He operated putting a plate and 6 screws fixing me the Next Morning God - Continue to bless this Great Doctor please.

Dr. Post was amazing! He even brought me a warm cover in pre-op. I am posting this because my shoulder has begun to rear it's ugly self again. I don' t know why, but it very painful and is limiting my ability to do simple tasks. If I could get a reply I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you. Shirley A. Viers

sadly, was pretty much blown off! not sure whether because of the medicare and medicaid, or. that "athletes are the "important" patients to him. just basically, sarcastically, had no interest in treating me (even though I go to physical therapy right there)...so like MANY people now, I go to Pittsburgh for care. I have many orthopedic problems and it really sgocked and hurt my feelings deeply! (especially being a former nurse that took care of his patients!) many of the best doctors left this area, and the remaining seem to cater to the teams! very sad and not very Christian to me!

Very professional had a major rotator cuff tear, surgery went great would highly recommend him. Personally called to check on me after I came home.

I received treatment for chronic knee instabiltiy and dislocation from Dr. Post. Since I hurt my knee as a teenager, I have grappled with instability. However, six months after the surgery, I am already using my knee in ways that I could not before. Dr. Post was extremely thorough, expert, and caring in his treatment, and used surgery only as a last resort. He has my full endorsement, and I would go back if needed in the future. Furthermore, his staff is comprised of great people, and it was bittersweet to be released, knowing I wouldn't see these folks much in the future. Great doctor and practice.
