Dr Priester is amazing, I have been with him for years and hope to continue. He's an excellent doctor and very caring. Also very accessible

Dr. Priester is one of the top doctors in New York City. He is incredibly knowledgeable on a range of subjects. I am grateful that I live in an area where I have access to a doctor like him.

Dr Priester is a great listener with a gentle bedside manner.. He is very knowledgeable .. and calls back immediately!!

My husband and I have always liked Dr. Priester but when my husband became seriously ill earlier this year we found out just how caring and attentive Dr. Priester could be even though we were dealing with a specialist in another area of expertise that he had recommended to us. He went above and beyond for us and really helped us through a difficult time. I found his advice to be very helpful when we had to make decisions and he also didn't hesitate to call me outside of office hours when we were at the hospital and I needed advice. He followed through as my husband recuperated. He's always spent a lot of time listening but he's also sensible with his methods taking our histories into consideration. The longer we've been with him, the better we like him and the more we trust him.

Dr. Priester has been my doctor for 30 years and I hope for 30 more years. He is a modern Imhotep!

Great communicator, diagnostician, NICE!

Dr. Priester stands out for many good reasons...he is aware of current research, practical about prescribing medications or not, and caring.

He did a echo cardiogram on my first and third visits and I got to see my aorta on my first visit. Amazing! Diagnosed well, prescribed well. Did clearance (blood work) for a minor surgery without hesitation; gave my wife a serious evaluation on her visit and she was pleased too. He is very pleasant and I believe an excellent cardiologist.

Poor follow up and does not return phone calls promptly. Am sure he would not send himself or any family member to a doctor like himself. Purports to be a top physician but his attitude is one of neglecting patients. By dismissing input and not coordinating with other doctors, this doctor is practicing poor medicine. He may be fine with a small hand full of patients but he is clearly too busy to devote himself to personalized patient centered care. Would not recommend this doctor to anyone especially in an emergency situation. Heart disease can be a matter of life and death and if a doctor cannot properly respond to patients in these potential situations he should not be practicing. I did some searching and see he is involved in investments so maybe that is where his time should be devoted.

A graduate of the school of arrogant patriarchal physicians. He didn't listen, and didn't appear interested or couldn't be bothered to take what either I or my previous doctor thought about my condition but did find it important to name drop some of his high profile patients. The kind of doctor that gives doctors a bad rap.
