This so called doctor performed my gastric bypass surgery in 2011. I have had 7 abdominal surgeries in a year 5 internal hernia repairs, intestine resection (6 inches were removed because they were dead) and I now have a G-tube int bypassed stomach because I also have severe Gatroparesis because this man cut my vagus nerve completely in half. This man treated me like I was just looking for a pain pill although every time I had an issue with horrible pain I had to have exploratory surgeries which he always found something and corrected it. I now have another internal hernia and have had it for over 6 months it is the worse pain I have ever experienced. This man will not even see me now and I can not get another surgeon to help me because of all the damage Suggs has done. Please do not choose him to perform your surgery! The only reason I gave him a star was because I had to before I could post!!!

Dr. Suggs was not the first surgeon I had consulted with about my WLS...but he was the last. After my brother and his wife were treated by him, I felt he could be the right surgeon for me. The second I met his staff, and eventually him...I knew I was in the right hands. The overall process from the first consult until the surgery itself was quick and painless. I never once had a concern, as Dr. Suggs explained everything in full detail, and was always there to answer questions. Thankful that I had this opportunity at a better life. Would (and HAVE) highly recommend.

Dr. Suggs is the most unprofessional, uncaring medical clinician I have ever been in contact with. My father's death can be contributed to his lack of character and compassion.

This surgeon has a God complex and a horrible bed side manner and had performed surgery on my father. Day 3 dad need dialysis and this dr came in to put in a line. I reminded him my father had a carotid occlusion. The surgeon immediately shouted that I didn't need to tell him hi job. After my family respond there was no need for the attitude he stormed out and shouted to the nurses and I quote" transfer him. Transfer him I don't care I'm done! When I asked for another surgeon he said "good luck were all on the same team and stormed out of the unit leaving my father unbandaged. Needless to say were using another surgeon and praying my father pulls through!

Dr. Suggs performed my sons emergency appendectomy. The next morning my son told him that he could not take Lortab as he was allergic to it.....Dr. Suggs told him that was too bad he wasn't giving him anything else and if he didn't want the Lortab he could get something over the counter for the pain.I wouldn;t take my worst enemy to this Dr.
