Doctor helped me figure out why I was perpetually tired. Little did I know that I stop breathing over 50 times during the night. He offered a lot of advise and CPAP treatment really helped. Thank you from your grateful and no longer chocking during sleep Patient.

Above all dr. knows his stuff and such down to earth personality. He makes you feel right at home. His assistant is nice, really goes out of her way to help.

Dr Cavalier is one of a kind doctor. He is well-knowledged and truly cares about his patients. His office staff is warm and welcoming. One time I had an emergency question and he responded to my concerns on a weekend making me feel at ease. I can not recommend Dr. Cavalier enough

I agree with the previous reviewer. This doctor is very dismissive of my concerns and seems to assume that I am faking my symptoms. Please, do yourself a favor and find someone who is compassionate and empathetic.

I had a very bad experience with this doctor. He was completely disrespectful and accused me of lying because I did not respond well when he was treating me for psuedotumor cerebi with Topiramate. He told me that the tarlov cyst that i have been treated without pain relief didnt cause pain. He ignored most of my symptoma and gave me medication that fixed one symptom at the cost of making others worst. Very difficult and confusing time of my life and this doctor made me feel he was going to help despite his skeptical view. When i didn't respond to medication well he kicked me out and insisted i was faking. He ruined my social security and they rejected me. His doctors notes was completely incorrect in regards to the symptoms i complained about and diagnoses. He helped make a very bad situation worst. Very uncompassionate and inhumane. Need help and threw me away when he didn't understand what was happening. I was devastated.

I found Dr. Cavalier on Zocdoc and decided to schedule an appointment because he had excellent and genuine reviews. In my mid 30’s I have 13-15 migraines a month and it makes my life miserable. My appointment was in his Queens office, there was no wait time and I saw the doctor right away. This is the only time that the doctor actually spend 45 minutes with me to make sure that we address all of my concerns, explain my condition and offer the right treatment plan. I am following his treatment plan, we tried two medications and the second one seems to be working better. I am very happy that I finally found a neurologist that actually cares about his patients and you are not just a number.
