Dr. Yong Joong Kim, MD

First of all Dr Kim Young is no longer at this office; he as been replaced by Dr Jobanputra Smita. Ever since Dr Kim left I’ve been having the worst experience with Billing and the staffs here. They are impolite and bill you for things that didn’t happen. Dr Jobanputra will open a discussion about something that you clearly not interested in and will bill your insurance for it. They’re scammers.

I've never been to a gyne who was so rough. No bedside manner at all. He elbowed my knees open. And proceeded to push so hard with his head directly near my private. It was so shameful it was like he was sawing wood,. He was so rough my paper napkin cover flew off. He rubbed the tops of my breasts very lightly and proceeded to say he doesn't do breast exams. I finally asked him what he was doing down there and he immediately stopped. He said did it hurt and I said yes, he said does it hurt during sex, I said once in a blue moon. He said the reason it hurts is because I have a low uterus. After the appt. I called the office to file a complaint, but the secretary said I couldn't file one as the doctor is the owner. A few days later I called for my PAP results but they didn't have any because the doctor didn't have enough specimen to run the test. Seriously does he expect me to go through that again? What a creep.

During delivery of my nieces baby he turned to me n asked "i said 5 more pushes. Right?"....i said "yes". He asked "how many pushes so far?.."i said "3"...so he tells my niece "ok 2 more"...then she tears..n he says "oh we do episiotomy " (after she tears) he prepares the lidocaine shot and puts it on the table. .grabs the scissors n CUTS HER!" She screams n dr. Kim says "oh i forgot to give her shot". then after delivery he sews her up inside and out and shes feeling everything SCREAMING AND CRYING. i say to the nurse "why is he not giving her lidocaine? " the nurse says "i dont know...maybe he did and it didn't take". After birth i go to the waiting room n relay details and i add "that is The Worst Doctor Ever!" but a lady says "oh i love dr. Kim...im the one who referred him". I said "you can keep him, ill never recommend him to any friend of mine!"

I saw this dr because he was the only one within 30 miles that takes my insurance. After seeing him I may never see a gynecologist again, so scarred am I by the experience. I went to see him because I've had repeat abnormal apps for 3 years. My insurance changed and I had to find a new dr. I was gripping the wall and crying during his exam, it hurt so bad. I've never had a dr try to put his fingers inside the cervix before. He told me then that I have. The cervix of a 10 year old. He then actually put one finger in the vagina and went in and out a few times then tried to put 2 fingers in and do it. All the while I'm crying both from pain and shame. He then lectured me for not having an active sex life and told me I should be taking care of my husband. I'm 55 years old and pretty sure I can decide that for myself. This is a thoughtless dr who overstepped his boundaries. Bedside manner terrible. Instilled no confidence in me to where I'd allow him to do a surgical procedure on me or… ever another exam. Ever!!

The staff was not very friendly. The wait time was under 15 minutes. However, he was one of the worst doctors I have ever had. He invited the other "student" doctor in without asking and did not introduce him. He then told me I had to have a procedure done even though all my tests were fine. It made zero sense. I had to fight the secretary on even canceling my appointment. I went to another doctor and they told me the procedure was completely unnecessary and could cause me future harm because of my young age. I do not trust this doctor and his suggestions. The other doctor fixed my issue with ZERO SURGERY OR PROCEDURES. I do not recommend this doctor at all.

Dr. Kim had no concern for my issues. In fact it seemed he was only looking for OB patients to fill his time. His bed side manner was horrible for a doctor in the gynecological practice. He was very short, very rough with the physical exam, and overall did not listen to a word I said.

Dr. Kim is the best doctor anywhere. He's kind, patient, very knowledgable, and genuinely listens to his patients and cares about what's best for them. All doctors should be like him; I'm lucky to have him as my doctor.
