Dr. Zoka Mazarei Afsar, DO

I was her patient until she has moved away to MD, since then I tried 10 different providers but no one comes anywhere close to her LISTENING SKILL, try to INVESTIGATE MY SORCE OF PROBLEM and calm, kind and cheerful personality. I can’t find anyone as good as Dr Afsar, I have switched to Blue-cross to have more options, I really miss her CARING LISTENING EARS, I’m saying this because I’m in healthcare myself, it takes a time and energy to deal with patients all day long that’s how I know how much she cares about patients and amount of patience she has. I miss her!!!!

Very unresponsive Doctor. It took her office 10 days to communicate my EKG results that is after I emailed them a reminder. Send her messages about concerns and she would respond back a week later, again that is after I emailed reminders to respond to my messages. She doesn't communicate or convey the information completely and accurately. She emails back with incomplete and one liner sentences. Doesn't ask the patient questions to further investigate symptoms and conditions. Provides inaccurate information. Told me Kaiser doesn't carry certain medications when in reality they did.

Dr. Zoka was recommended to me by a friend. Its a great pleasure working with her. She's one of the reason I keep the same insurance because shes more than satisfying. Easy to schedule appointment. Shes also deaf friendly and does listens and acts more than professionally. I strongly recommend her on a high professional note due to her unique professional code, willing to go extra mile for patient. No wonder I am seeing two awards of her. Last but not least, she's reason I keep my KP insurance.
