Dr. Shaun Ian Accardo, MD

Dr. Shaun Accardo is an orthopedic surgeon who also specializes in oncology, bringing 16 years of experience to his practice. He earned his medical degree from Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans, where he developed expertise in treating bone and joint conditions as well as cancer-related orthopedic issues. Dr. Accardo speaks both English and Spanish, allowing him to serve a diverse patient population.

Dr. Accardo is affiliated with H Lee Moffitt Cancer Center and Research Institute Hospital and practices at multiple locations throughout Louisiana, including Baton Rouge and Shreveport. His clinical focus includes treating osteoarthritis and joint pain, as well as managing leg fractures. He performs extremity X-rays to diagnose bone and joint problems, and provides bursa aspiration and injection procedures to relieve inflammation and pain in affected joints.
