Dr Carr saw me with a major slipped disk. I’ve been in a huge amount of pain. I asked him ASAP. I asked if he could plz provide some pain meds because surgery not for 1 1:2 months. Then Covid-virus hits. I went for my pre-it and yes of course we’re still doing it! I said plz can I have just enough to get me through the time. He peplied “know why would you want to start that um?” I DONT KNOW? Maybe the pain. No one is answering the phone, leave a CB message. Finally I got. Message. Waited for him to call back. He didteven have the nerve to call me, nor talk to me. He had his secretary call and surgery way off in distant future. And pain meds- call the pain doctor. The p.doctor of course he’s closed!! ??For someone who know how painful this is, it’s NOT a time to worry over a few pain meds. I guess that’s why people take heroin or pills or morphine- because no one believes them!!!! (Not that I would but some stupid addicts ruined it for the rest of us!

Dr Carr is a great doctor in every respect. Once in a lifetime you find the perfect Doctor, and Dr Carr is that for me.

Dr. Carr has been my surgeon for over a decade. In the past 6 years, he has preformed 4 separate lumbar spine surgeries ( two of those were fusions). As awful as fusions are ( actually, any back surgery), he goes out of his way to make it the best possible experience possible. He also takes the time for family members in the office with their questions/concerns too. He will accommodate you when you're in a predicament, like acute pain, prescriptions, and calls ( at least from my personal experience) when anxious or upset. He's a good man and has a great amount of empathy for what his patients are going through. He's the type of doctor that you don't want to have to see, but always happy to see him regardless of how badly you feel. As a nurse ( who cares for others who see Dr. Carr too and adore him!!), from a clinical perspective, he's a great physician. I have complete faith and trust in him ( enough to send one of my children to consult him), so if you're looking for a great spine… surgeon, he's your man!

I can’t say enough about the awesome experience I had with Dr. Carr and the entire staff. The ladies were all wonderful they tried at all times to help me to be comfortable. Dr. Carr was really cool and very easy to talk to. He answered all my questions and help me understand the procedure and why.
